For watching or reading Conan, I recommend only doing it for a few seasons/volumes and then just imagine an ending you'd like. Because that manga ain't ever ending. It's fairly enjoyable though, until cases become similar or character designs start to overlap (having like 10 new characters every case is pretty taxing for design, especially when you can't exaggerate like in fantasy). It also suffers from Ash Ketchum syndrome, where characters never age. So yeah, take a shot and then leave it when it's at its peak.

Lord knows I don't follow RWBY closely anymore, but even I knew that. It was just a remark on how they are literally nothing alike down to the last atom.
