That's good to hear. I'm actually kind of interested in reading this whole "relationship sabotage" and "Mei agreeing to date that other girl" thing even if you say it's pretty dumb... and, of course, it's nice that it's a lot better now. I'm still waiting for the anime though since I usually prefer watching anime to reading manga, so I'll definitely watch it as soon as it comes out.
As for the NTR adaptation... so, they pretty much took a shitty manga and took out the few good parts, huh? Wow, okay then...
(Huge spoilers for Kuzu no Honkai ahead).
I certainly would have liked it if Hanabi and Ebato ended up dating, but, to me, at least, it doesn't really make sense when taking into consideration their relationship. They were both pretty much using each other: Ebato saw that Hanabi was in a miserable state so she used that opportunity to have sex with her, and Hanabi just wanted some good ol' comfort sex or whatever. She later felt guilty since she knew that Ebato's feelings for her were real while her feelings for Ebato were not romantic at all, so she tried to call it off, but Ebato was too possessive to let her go... until she did let her go like 2 episodes later. I liked Scum's Wish and all, but, yeah, the characters act kind of strangely sometimes... I suppose it's not too unreasonable though that she took the time to think about it a bit and decided that she didn't want to go out with someone who had no feelings for her in return. And then she did that cutting her hair thing at the end, signfiying that she had finally let go of Hanabi once and for all, which led to their renewed friendship. Nothing in the series really indicated to me that Hanabi really loved Ebato in a romantic way, and the whole reason she broke up with her at all is because she respected her feelings and knew they were legitimate... so, yeah, that's why it didn't really bother me as much as it does in most other cases.
