I also don't feel like the author knew what to do with Yori and Himari anymore anyway. The Aki/Shiho storyline helped give at least Himari a lot to do and an arc to progress within. Even now I still don't feel like she knows what to do with Himari and Yori for long stretches. They were mostly fluffy and didn't have major arcs beyond that. Now Himari is developed quite a bit but in connection to Shiho and the band. Yori has kind of got the shit end though. To me it felt like the Takeshima really wanted to write drama and dynamic relationships and took off once she got the chance.

I've noticed some people are complaining about a lack of Yorihima lately, especially given the fact that Himari just met Yori's parents a few chapters prior and that meeting is a huge one given on what we've got lately.

When's the last time we even saw Yori
Let alone focused on her and Himari

In the meantime, Yori is currently stuck in "thinking for her future" phase that may take months or years given WYALS updates monthly while Himari will face a bigger obstacle compared to how she handled AkiShiho. I guess Yori and Hima may, or may not, have a talk on what's going to happen in the next few chapters.

I've been enjoying the drama so far as I'm waiting in anticipation on how Hajime and Momoka will move forward in life after Kyou's death. I'd love to see how Takeshima will handle their arc.

It's fine at best. Just a very mediocre romance drama, I am genuinely surprised it HAS lasted this long given how generic the whole thing is. it's disappointing it has come this far and never really tried to be more complex than it is. Feels very "don't want to let it end cause it's popular" rather than really continuing for a meaningful reason, which happens a lot tbf so not really a surprise.

Don't take it personally though it's just my opinion. I can understand why people like it, I just crave more interesting stories and developments in relationships and this comes across all very surface level to me. I will still keep reading in the mean time and maybe Eku's next series will move on from high school dramas.

Hmm are you sure you're reading the series properly? I've seen some nuance from the drama is that is happening once you've read between the lines so I don't think "generic" is the correct word. To add, this series still has unfinished business going that it won't make sense if it should end where you think it must end, so I don't agree with your "don't want to let it end cause it's popular" line either.

Other than that, although I have to admit that waiting for a new chapter on a monthly basis can be a bit draining at times, I'm excited because this series still has a lot more to offer despite some setbacks that happened in the previous years. I am hyped for AkiShiho and Laureley's development ngl.

Off-topic, I wonder why Chapter 64 is not available here? I'd like to see spoilered-text discussions about that chapter here.

Finally! I've been waiting for the confrontation for so long!

I feel like I'm just reading this out of habit by now. I loved it at the beginning, but now there are too many characters with same-face syndrome and I can't remember which ones are annoying and why.

That's interesting and unfortunate. I personally don't have any issue telling the characters apart and knowing who everyone is, and I'm still very much enjoying the series...but based on comments on Dynasty for awhile now I think I'm in the minority of people that still love this series and am still following it because I still enjoy it. Ah well, I just have to love it enough to make up for all the people that no longer do haha

Late to the party and I feel the same

My bad. I wasn't supposed to discuss anything until it gets properly translated.

But then it was brought up. I won't do that again.

Incidentally, I wonder if the English version of this chapter was translated from the Spanish version, since I saw a few cases of upside-down exclamation marks(for example, the only speech bubble on the third-to-last page).

I just checked the one posted on the other site, and dodgy editing is so crystal clear that I'd rather wait for the /u/ Scanlations one even if it takes weeks. On the other hand, I just MTL the raws for myself once its up.

I didn't expect for the angst and suffering to start too soon after the yakiniku scene. And while Hajime has a point, her mistake is she brought it up at the worst possible time and place: Momoka is at her most vulnerable at a place she can let it all out.

Himari seriously really needs to step up her manager game given how she has zero knowledge on record labels and Zepp, I hope it balances out with her man-management instead.

I couldn't really care for the new couples in this, not sure why

Which couples? AkiShiho are the most interesting to me because I like their history and I'm a sucker for their dynamic. I also really like YoriHima to a lesser extent.

I'm not as interested in Aya/Miki, but I'm hoping to see more of Momoka/Hajime, especially what the impact of Kyou's letter would be. I'd also like to see more flashbacks on Kyou and Momoka's relationship that show how each of them viewed it.

ngl I main AkiShiho but I'm watching Hajimomo's storyline with great interest. Hajime and Momoka are Shiho's bandmates and if anything that is going to happen between them, not only Shiho will be affected but Aki may also be affected.

I may not be interested in AyaMiki but I'm watching Ayaka's role once Hajimomo lores gets deeper.
