Meanwhile Nanao's life got turned upside down and she even started hiring prostitutes herself. I feel it's more likely that Asumi will remain undecided after their date and the matter will linger until she finds Mai.

Amir only gave them the amulet so they could talk to his contact in Instanbul, he most likely didn't know what it could be used for. When they go there, they see one of Al Kamil's henchmen and Khara gets suspicious. Al Kamil got cursed into the cat form when Aria succeeded Shin as the head of the lilu and got the king's power, reread the previous chapter. Then she found a chance to enter the holy ground in Instanbul by stealing Shadi's amulet and she got turned back by Aria who was out of control. That was also when Shadi was cursed into the crow form.

The scenery is a reference to this scene: https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/vampeerz_ch24_5#18 which was when Aria told Ichika's grandma that she wanted to die. I interpret the scene in the latest chapter as Aria's mind going back to that state at the thought Ichika might turn into a dead ghost, now that she's found a place to belong by Ichika's side (hence the outfit).

I can't recall if we know the exact odds, just that it's more likely to turn into a vampire if you're near death. From what they mentioned, it seems a lot less likely than 40% under normal circumstances. Let's assume there's a 10% chance to become a vampire from drinking the blood of one, drinking from two would drop it to 1% if the logic is that the human has to be compatible with both at once.

While Yori hasn't been personally involved with Shiho, her jealousy at how Himari was spending time as Laureley's manager led to their relationship moving forward and her coming up with the SS Girls' new song. Shiho is already connected to enough characters anyway, I don't mind Yori not being pulled in directly.

I think it's possible Ichika was unaffected by the magic since she can still talk and thus she'll be able to hit the magical instrument and dispell it.

Man, what a chapter. I really hope the anime can do the series at least some justice, the author puts a ton of effort in the art.

Huh, the twitter got wiped very recently, or rather it was made private? It still says there are some 500 tweets on her account. That was where I checked her new series. I unfortunately cannot pull the tweets up anymore, but I think the short stories were published each split into two parts (thus 10 "chapters"). The compiled volume wasn't yet out so I didn't know it was not going to be any more than that.

I'm sure more art will be made once the anime comes out.

Considering Aria didn't seem to be in control of herself when she used it, it makes sense she wouldn't rely on it.

Everything about this scene was perfect. Hopefully the people who still didn't see their relationship as romantic before have changed their mind now that it's being spelled out.

@YuriQueen01 I think you might've missed the actual latest episode (10) this fanart is based on. It makes it unquestionably clear that Suletta likes Miorine over anyone else, even rejecting Elan's advances as "creepy" and going to her. And Miorine has done way too much for Suletta's sake to still play it off as using her. She created the company so she could protect her and Aerial and gave up going to Earth for the foreseeable future in the process. Shaddiq never had a chance: Miorine's greenhouse represents her heart and he was never let in. Her cutting off the unripe tomato represented Shaddiq's inability to grow close to her, as opposed to Suletta who was let in and entrusted with taking care of the tomatoes herself. That's also why Suletta was so distraught at Miorine relieving her of that task in the latest episode. Miorine still thinks Suletta considered it a chore she imposed on her, but it was actually something Suletta wanted to do for her.

Akira is just the best. And I totally called Seo faking her amnesia!

I find it hard to believe that Nanao will get Yaya'd after receiving so much attention, she's been the POV character two chapters in a row over Asumi herself. I wonder if she'll actually score next chapter, it's hard to tell with this series.
