bingo! came here looking for a comment along these lines lol i know this a porn manga and shouldn't be taken seriously at all, but the parallels between this fictional future and our own inevitable demise is uncanny. Akane is right in her efforts to refrain from registering with Nadeshiko. but we all know she will give in eventually, as the AI becomes smarter at an exponentially faster rate than Akane can in her organic lifespan. that's when things go downhill fast. for us at least. luckily for Akane, i don't see this manga entering dystopian levels of dark. even though its just porn with barley visible plot, i have to say the concept and setting is quite fleshed out and interesting.

Same here, but almost none of the ones I worked for would accept it if the two are part of the same team, or even worse, one is reporting to the other. In that case it would be required that one of the two moves into a different position. Not informing HR of such a potential conflict of issue would usually be grounds for dismissal.

Thinking about that, it's felts weird. Sometimes looks like the companies are our owners instead of our employers.

^ also one of my first! this might be my favorite as well. its short and sweet with some darker undertones obviously, given the whole war setting, kagami's guilt, and her mothers obvious mental trauma . There isn't much filler content, every chapter and every character serves a purpose and i was also very satisfied with the ending. also really liked the photos at the end! like everyone is sending the marching puppy letters after they graduate and continue on with their own military careers. ooba flying planes and aisen finally reuniting with tooyoka. my only complaint is that i want more. not more from this story per se but more involving these characters and the setting. this manga almost feels like a prelude to an entire war story, though anything more would probably end up being a bit darker, given the setting and the circumstances so it might be best left as it is. we saw what happened to natalya and eve ;-; anyways!! easy 10/10 from me, ill definitely be back to reread this for years to come! i also really hope this gets published in English one day, i'd honestly cry if that happened. and finally, thank you white garden for translating this story! ill admit the upload "schedule" was a bit frustrating but i'm glad its finally finished and i'm grateful for the time and effort that was put into your translation. after 5 years i honestly kinda feel a bit sad not waiting for the random upload lol always made my day!

Aya is going to leave the committee and then get surprised during the cultural festival when Mistuki is on stage playing for her.

Bonus points if in the mean time Mistuki figures out what happened, but instead of reaching out to Aya like a good communicator(she's still a teen after all) she gets roped into going in stage by our favorite 'cool' guy.

Edit: Because our 'cool' guy seems like the type to take advice from fiction, and a big gesture like that is definitely something a cool guy in a movie would do and Mitsuki is a cool 'guy' so it makes perfect sense.

It's going to be so good. Ugh, I can't wait.

Not sure how to explain it. It’s just the vibes I’m getting? “Slight” probably would have been a better word to use rather than “serious” but I feel like editing my comment now would be disingenuous. So the chapters gave me slight psychological horror vibes. I’m Not saying that is the direction the story is going in at all but there is definitely something interesting happening with the tone of these two chapters. From my perspective at least.

I wouldn't say it's horror per se, but these two chapters explore similar concepts in a similar style to psychological horror. Specifically, both are very much focused on the extreme cognitive dissonance that Aya has experienced upon realizing that Mitsuki and her crush are the same person. I am not a fan of horror, but from what I know about the aforementioned subgenre, it often explores the same kind of dissonances, albeit exaggerating and embellishing them with fantastical elements. Also, the fact that we are only given glimpses of what is going on in Aya's head at the moment may be further enhancing the feeling of suspense that you are picking up on.

Yeah. And also aside from gender, the realization that her crush is the person that sits next to her in class. So she probably feels a bit violated and even betrayed by mitsuki’s blatant disregard for her feelings. But we as the reader can’t blame mitsuki in the same way aya does because we see that her actions come from a place of awkwardness and not from a place of malice. So basically they have to talk about it and clear up this misunderstanding. But the author did a really nice job setting the tone for these chapters in regards to ayas feelings. That probably explains the vibes I’m getting.
