could be a pun on the internetically understood concept that playing monopoly is the opposite of chill. things are always chaotic and chill is nowhere to be seen when monopoly is played lol unless there is some other inside joke I'm not aware of. I'd also appreciate an explanation if that's the case

Bae and IRyS wrote a story about themselves where the joke was that it seemed like they were going to have sex but actually they played monopoly. Saying monopoly instead of sex has since become a running gag, at least for IRyS (I don't follow Bae)

Oh, it certainly is a running gag on Bae’s channel too. In fact, is has already spread beyond those two’s channels. For example, Calli freaked out when she introduced her RL mom on stream and she said her favorite game was Monopoly.
