Gives us a few pieces of the puzzle. Aya was last seen the day of the Tanabata Festival, but Aya remembers it being the day before the festival when she ends up in the future. Erika supposedly had a conversation of some kind with Aya on the day of the Tanabata Festival, and may be the last person who saw her before she disappeared. But, Erika is also curious about what Aya did after leaving said conversation, so it's unlikely (but NOT disproven) Erika was directly involved.

Good catch. Given the Tanabata theme, it could be a wish Erika wrote and hung up on the bamboo. She must have been tormented with guilt ever since, in that case.

This reappeared Aya seems to be fully functional and capable of independent feeling and thinking, and also corporeal enough for a check up at hospital, so I think we can rule out the "ghost" and "Koto's and Erika's projection" theories.

1st part: R&R. 2nd part: S&S. 3rd part: T&T. By this trend the 4th part would probably be some sort of U&U, sth like "Unequivocal and Unwavering" might be good. :-?

I miss this series, so yesterday I did some digging. Turns out the author suffered from severe chronic lower back pain (sounds like herniated spine to me) and couldn't sit to work on this series, so it was switched irregular release after ch64. The author has since recovered somewhat, ch65 was released in April '23, and ch66 last week.

Truck-kun, Van-san, Train-sama &co. have been working overtime to supply this world, eh?

^I don't know which market they are covering their base for, but it's not China. The audience understands SuleMio are married, they see the engagement since ep1, the interactions, the "sister in law" line and the rings, they are not dumb, and the censorship agency understands too. That agency always watches the entire actual content of a show to look for anything that could be interpreted in a way they don't like and ban it, they don't care for some periphery tacked-on statement of staff or owner company. Yet the show and merchandise were and still are allowed to be on the market in China (edit: they did not have showings on television in mainland, for licensing reason, not censorship, merchandise are still sold), before and after Bandai Namco's backpedaling, so China is fine actually with the marriage that was shown implicitly.

It's clear now. Kita is flat so she's subconsciously drawn to Bocchi who has impressive Bocchis. Shamiko's Shamikos are great already, but her muscles are weak as hell, so she's into Momo's rock hard sweet, sweet abs. It's all about filing in for what they're missing, folks.

True story: Ch01 of this story impressed me so much, I actually started learning Japanese first and foremost to read the rest of this story, since the years and years of waiting for the translation that might never come while having the raw in my hand (author published the pdf freely on their pixiv) were more than I can take sitting idly. I was not very good at learning new language from scratch, and busy with other stuffs in my life, so the learning was slow, even now I can barely get the gist of what was said in the raw, but it was a fun process :)

^same, I don't read shonen, but I do like shipping, and this ship was discussed hotly enough amongst those who read the manga series that info about it made its way to me, so I digged a bit for it in canon, and there were good shipping materials :)) It helps that Toga is the kind of sick character that I find somewhat appealing sometimes.

Incidentally I came across ch395 today (trending on bird app), and holy shit Toga is added to the list of victims of "they killed the gay" when she saved Ochaco's life. Damn.

^ True that. Of course, going into a battle shounen manga just for the yuri is plain silly. But the yuri scent is obviously in the air: the care and deep concern of Ochaco for Toga is very real and established; and Toga "falls in love easily with everyone" in her own words, so that certainly includes Ochaco who she lets in so close to her heart to have this chat. So there is canon reciprocal feelings between the two, not good enough to build a romantic relationship (which needs more than just feelings for each other to form and function) may be, but that's still more than a significant chunks of all yuri ships around. People are not hallucinating seeing this ship.
Also, the serial shippers don't even care about canon, shipping is just fun.

(also, as supporters of LG**B**T, we understand that some people are bi and monogamous so they stick with people of one sex one at a time, so about half of the times they are with people of the other sex, right? Such detail might never get explicitly stated if it's not the focus of the series, but I find it to be way less of a headache about the whole 'bait this bait that' debate to just handwave it that they are bi and monogamous)
