One of my first and favorite yuri stories of all time. This series holds a special place in my heart, especially since it's one of the few with a happy ending,

I read it at the same time as "Is My Hobby Weird?" which is another fetish-themed series. They have many points in common. (And I greatly recommend both!)

This series is literally just porn, and the story and character writing only exists as a vehicle to get our protag from one sex scene to the next.

They have changed alright. That definition is very 2010-ish. People used to complain all the time that girl x girl romance in manga was full of platonic ambiguity and avoided gay stuff like the plague, but not anymore. I'm following at the moment a couple dozen manga in Dynasty reader and there's not one that doesn't have lesbian desire and lesbian sex.

I remember well those times, I've been into yuri for a long time and I remember fans used to get furious at those stories where two chicks were obviously madly in love but never said it clearly and never even kissed. Heck, if memory's right, that was how the hand-holding meme came into being: at the time, the climax of the love story came when one girl held the other's hand and they both blushed! It was the moment of admission of feelings, the much-awaited, squeal-inducing consummation of their long and passionate mutual seduction! Man, those were the days! Lol.

To people who argue about this manga and romance, I say this: I have no clue how very yuri the story of Aya and Mitsuki will get, but I'm 100% sure that whatever happens they will at least hold hands. Yup, I'm positive. ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

Yes, precisely so. It should be transparently obvious now. At first I too thought that the author was going for the old predictable joke where Makino who expected kinky times would get a study session instead... but it's clearly not the case.

When Satou warns Makino that they can't do the more time-consuming lesbian courses because they only have a hour, her evident meaning is that they will very much do the lighter lesbian stuff!

Oh my. It looks like yuri fiction in that world isn't as advanced and developed as in ours. They are still at the stage where love despair and suicide seems a reasonable ending for lesbian characters, like in Shiroi Heya no Futari or Claudine.
