It's not really that far out there for Junna to move past the assault given a) it's in the past, on an alternate timeline even, b) Nana appears to hold deep regrets about it, and c) unlike the alternate timeline, Junna's up for it now, why let those events influence the current timeline.

Still, feels like some easy drama thrown in for the sake of drama. I'd prefer more fluffy Junna x Nana.

And reversals, I wouldn't mind some reversal.

I don't understand why the new art is turning off some people. It looks like an all-around improvement to me.

Isn't it the same, just cleaner? I can't tell if the style has changed at all. It still looks like Mochi.

This so perfectly captures how despicable, degenerate, and dehumanizing the way some people treat others, on the internet or otherwise, that what little jokes here and there were completely consumed by disgust towards those people.

Dark humor can be good but this one struck too close to the heart.

I honestly believe this should not be taken seriously at all. I've read tons of gender-bend/cross-dressing mangas and these annoying tropes plague the entire genre.

If anything this could be making fun of those popular cross-dressing romance mangas but it doesn't really go beyond playing the same dumb tropes for laughs and at worse just reinforces the same homophobic/transphobic atmospheres these tropes can easily create.

Yes, but idk...the story is showing how the characters feel jealousy or how they feel lonely when they don't talk to each other. It's way too Gay to be considered Subtext, besides, the manga is published in a Yuri magazine so...

Subtext is defined by implicit signs that there might be romance but nothing is explicit and officially canonized. If the creator leaves it up for interpretation that's 100% subtext since nothing will ever get canonized even if it's absolutely filled with tons of 'obvious' sexual/romantic tension.

That's why I'm not fond of subtext. It's ok to have lite-romance with explicit canon pairs, that's not subtext. Subtext is unbearable because you're stuck in 'hooking up' limbo with infinite teasing and no solid foundation forever.
