In general, translating into a language other than your native one is a very bad idea.

That's a bit of a generalisation. Native does not automatically equate to fluency, and vice versa. English isn't my native language, nor do I live in an English speaking country, yet it's still by far the language I'm the most proficient and comfortable with. Conversely, I've met and seen a great amount of people who mess up the language they're born and raised with.

I dunno about other people, but I usually check a dictionary if I don't recognise a word. And as you might expect, "concrit" doesn't show up in a dictionary or any reliable websites, so one would assume it's a typo.

Edit: fanlore.org doesn't sound like a go-to site for looking up words you don't know, so I'm not surprised that people would overlook it.

I asked DPF to tag is as subtext, as it's not yet clear how far it will go. Personally, I enjoy this series for the characters themselves. It's amusing to see so many tropes made fun of. x)
