You disappoint me.

The argument about definitions and labels reminded me of it and it fit perfectly.

If I don't define my action as breathing, but suck in oygen and expel CO2, am I not breathing?

Apparently, that’s for others to say.

Isn't that what you are doing here? They say they aren't (quite) girlfriends. You say they are.

Be respectful of the characters' opinion of their relationship. ^^

Sakurako simply said they are more than just girlfriends. Their relationship cannot be defined easily because they are all these things at once.

That doesn't change the fact that they are dating. It's something that doesn't need to be named, because it happens in front of our eyes. The "inhaling" and "expelling" is there. Therefore they are "breathing" even if they don't call it that.

"We have a certain way of how we want to convey our relationship, but that doesn't apply to the onlookers. People should have freedom of expression which applies to both us and others. We don't intend to define our relationship as dating, but the onlookers are free to see our relationship how they want. Rather than denying the onlookers' interpretation, we want to keep doing what we want to do, believing someday our opinions/ideas and worldview will be accepted"

it's such a sad writing of someone meaning the author who has zero knowledge about the issues than something he found on internet or from other manga at best.

Or because LGBT people are pitiable and sad and full of drama, they'll make for perfect protagonists to write a interesting story about people with issues and angst. You know. Because there's nothing more to them outside of having drama over their identity. LGBT people are not actually people after all.

Been trawling through the site as a guest and couldn't find it, so here I am.

Basically, all I remember about this particular manga was that a girl needed 'material' for a story - can't remember if it was a manga or an out and out novel - and so she decides to go up to another girl to 'observe' her for the material. It turns out that what Girl A wrote was basically an unrequited love story with her as the protagonist and Girl B as the SO. Help would be appreciated.

This?

I second this motion

Just rename it "April Fools' version" or something and keep it for posterity, because it's too good to be removed.

In Japan, schools and parents used to force you to write with right hand, because nail that sticks out etc. Thankfully they apparently don't do it anymore, but of course it's not completely gone, because social norms and all that crap.

True, but saying being trans isn't a mental illness isn't a slight against mentally ill ppl. In fact I'd argue the opposite, that erroneously labeling certain groups mentally ill, actually harms ppl with legitimate illnesses.

Good thing then I wasn't suggesting either of those things. Whatever you're diagnosed as mentally ill or not should be irrelevant to how other treats you.

Ignoring everything else, I agree with Looking East, that people's perception of mental illness is what should change first. Too many people still think of it as simply being "sick in the head" and refuse to go to psychologist, psychiatrist or attend any therapy in general to avoid being branded as crazy, even when they clearly need it. It's time people understand that there are all kind of disorders and plenty of people live just fine with them. For example, actual depression (not the, "I feel sad" kind) is considered mental illness, yet nobody is afraid of calling themselves depressed.

Yea, especially since people suggested she might be the one who tipped rapists off in the first place, most likely to gain the blackmailing material, so if that's true, nothing can redeem her.

I didn't get why this series was tagged lolicon, but it's starting to make sense now. Is it unusual that school animes and what not that take place in middle school are ecchi, I thought it happend a lot or are they usualy always in high school?

Lolicon tag on dynasty is used more to mark there is loli in story rather than actual lolicon. It can mean other, but it's more of a umbrella term.

She really went all-out with the villainous act this time... but, somehow, it only made even more obvious that it's just a show.

How exactly? And even if she's bluffing, for all intents and purposes she's still blackmailing Gin, because he does exactly what she says and has no guts to check if she is bluffing (and I don't blame him for that). Even if she has some good reason to do it, no matter what it is, it doesn't justify it in any way, shape, or form.

I'm not sure if people forgot about it or didn't realize it, but she already blackmailed him in chapter 3. In fact from the very beginning entire premise was based on blackmail. So I don't understand why people still took it seriously and why only now think it got shitty "because Asa is a dick". She was always a dick.

She uses it to move around and throw stuff so I'd say not really. It might be at the beginning but at this point it's very well trained muscle.

She had to discover it somehow. And she discovered it by wanting so badly to be like people she was obsessed with, she started drinking their blood. She just happened to have exact quirk she wanted totally not because author gave her quirk that would make no sense on anyone else. She even says she prefers to drink blood directly.

It actually probably wouldn't make much sense even with context.

She has fetish of drinking the blood of her victims, so it make sense she would bite her tongue. Also almost exact same thing happened in show, just she cut her tongue with knife and pinned her to a tree and was about to do some yandere stuff.
