I might be losing it but, to me those picture book illustrations seemed to be right out of Revolutionary Girl Utena.

Edit: Also I kind of wish Lilian would have seen that Evris was happy with another woman and lamented that it could have been her, if she had played her cards right and not been a total jackass. Or at least regretted being stuck with a dumbass guy she doesn't like. Grrrr I hate lesbian characters that steel their crushes boyfriends! It just seems like such an obvious losing gambit, no matter what their reasoning behind it is.

I don't know anything about the series. I was just asking to see if the story would satify my yuri sweet tooth. And to try to get the concept of the Canon couple tag to catch on.

I've never saw a manga or anime that showed the characters at prom before. So l've always assumed Japanese schools just didn't have them.
Come to think of it the TGSWIIWAGAA is full of American music references too. I wonder if Arai Sumiko has a thing for American culture.

Good point Snapdragon beans and BlueDsc. Still it's always disappointing when you see a cute pairing that makes you interested in a series, just to find out the pairing only exists in the minds of the fans.

Well it has been more than 20 years since I saw Sailor Moon. Plus it was the Cartoon Network edit. Still I did a search for AMI and Makato on YouTube and the dance scene was pretty much all that came up.

I've watch the clip. And I have to admit it is kind of yuri-ish but if that's all you got then I have to stand by my statement.

These two get paired a lot. I don't remember anything in the canon that really suggests the pairing though.

I'm in favor of anything that lets me play with a blowtorch.

This looks like it'll end up being a lot of twisted fun. I'm in.

Jeeze Sakura's final words simply being "I'm off" hit me hard, in the feels for some reason.

This story reminds me a little of the the 1943 movie A Guy Named Joe, or the 1989 remake called Always.

I know starting out making your own way, in life can be rough. However this almost felt like a comedy sketch about bad actors trying to play dramatic roles but end up going way over the top with their performances.

Damn! It was like she lost her all over again. It made me cry a little.

Here's a pairing I haven't thought about in a while.

I honestly don't get why these one shot stories, about unfulfilled love, are so popular. I just find them frustrating. To me, it's like waiting for an action movie villain to get their comeuppance only for them to get away with their crimes, in the end. The artwork is really cute though.

While I would definitely love to see more of this, I'm just not sure what I want to see happen. If it keeps going as is, I feel like I would get bored and frustrated waiting for these two to move forward. However if their relationship does advance into romantic territory, I'd feel like the story would lose at least some of it's innocent charm.

Letting refugees in to the country, but keeping them separated and disenfranchised is a recipe for disaster.

It's like the movie Crank and the show The Walking Dead had a yuri baby.

Hahahaha For some reason the idea of expert undercover operatives resorting to middle school mean girl tactics just made me laugh out loud.
