I rather like the ending, in that it doesn't put love over ambition. I think it's more sad to give up on your dreams and goals for a relationship. The whole, "You mean more to me than anything else in my life" mindset is just annoying to me.

Of course, I never like Takemiya's style, so I wasn't much for this, but I at least approved of the message.

I have a liking for stories where caring for one's appearance is promoted and not looked down upon, so this intrigues me already.

I fear where it'll go, considering the author, but as long as the tags don't lie I think it'll be fine. Smut-loving authors do innocent work sometimes too.

I think of it more like,
Pedo = Loves kids
Lolicon = Loves kids and people who look like kids

Or a lolicon could even just love people who look younger than they are, but aren't actually that young.

I guess, a lolicon is more into the childish look, while a pedo is more into the naivety and innocence of a child's personality. At least that's my thought.

And yeah, lolicon is basically the Japanese word for pedo, but I think it's taken on a different meaning among foreigners. Like otaku in Japan means someone who loves anime while otaku in other countries means someone who loves anime and/or other Japanese media and culture. I'm sure there's a better example, but I can't think of it right now.

This is one of those one-shots that would've been better if it were longer. In fact, it could make a great short series. There's enough plotlines in this one-shot alone to cover a lot of time. I'd especially like to hear more about Nanase covering her true personality. It's something that could make for an interesting topic, but it was glossed over so quickly for the sake of fewer pages.

The concept is really nothing special but the art makes me keep going, even though I tend to dislike student-teacher things. Nothing gets me into yuri like good art.

Something like this would've been much better spread out over a few chapters. I don't see why it was necessary to cram it into one.
