Oh god I remember this game. It wasn't fantastic but I won't say I didn't enjoy it.

...and I can't deny that I bought it because of the promise of yuri.

God DAMN is that just downright frustrating. Just how many times can they confess to each other without either actually understanding it? I was laying on my back in bed when I read this chapter. With the latest failed confession, I lifted my head up, groaned, and slammed it back down into my pillow again. It shouldn't be legal to be this dense. This might be even worse than the cliche of the other person not hearing the confession due to fireworks, or falling asleep, or a sudden brief period of deafness for no apparent reason.

I know I'm still going to read the next chapter when it comes out, but, goddamn... at least the new haircuts are cute. Short hair is 10/10

I know this isn't quite what you meant by "falling asleep" but I don't think I've ever seen a story where someone falls asleep in the middle of being confessed to and now I really want to. It just goes like "I love-" flop, snoooore "...you"

Actually, even better: The person confessing falls asleep. "I have something I need to tell you... I've always loved..." snore

It's like Bright and Cheery Amnesia only narcolepsy instead of amnesia.

I loved this a lot. Maybe it's the "model falling in love with the artist" cliche, maybe it's the sudden "Oh, I'm gay. Dang, I guess I should tell her I love her." Reminds me of Kiri from Kindred Spirits on the Roof, with one of the best scenes in the whole game.

I haven't read the LN's, and I understand they're quite a bit further along than the 2 seasons of anime we've gotten, but the show for certain is primarily a parody of isekai stories. I don't want to say too much, but I'll say that the charm of the show is the way the characters play off each other. The personalities of the characters (including the protagonist) are a very big part of that.

Suffice to say, I wouldn't want any of these people in my harem.
Or my RPG party, for that matter.

I'll agree with the sentiment that the ending here feels a bit rushed, but I don't think the story would have benefited from more chapters. Maybe a few more pages before they're happily living together, but it still felt just about right to me. I wouldn't say no to more chapters about their life moving forward, but I think it's ok to end it here too.

edit: I was also kind of hoping for the "Yuki's a cat" reveal during the "I love you" scene. Frankly it would have been funny to me if Nanami had been straight.
That said, a noodle's only straight til it gets wet, right?

The only reason I can think of for the genderswapped joker being so popular is the song in Dancing Star Night and the opening to Persona Q 2, where he inexplicably starts singing in a woman's voice (well... he's animated singing in a part that's sung by a woman, which is pretty close).

They're pretty great, to be honest.
