Nah I don't think the mom was hooking up with a teacher. What I think happened and is probably more likely is that she probably received a phone call about how she was missing practice from a concerned teacher who probably thought she was sick. Her mom probably put all the pieces together and realized she skipped out. I don't think she was getting abused, but a tiger mom is one of the scariest things in the world. It's tramatic

Not the mother, people were thinking (myself included, but not with a teacher, cause why would a teacher sit outside of the school in their car) Shiho was meeting with an older man/teacher as Miwa mentioned a suspicious car always waiting outside of the school and commenting how Shiho looks like he has given up on humanity.

Though it turns out it's her mother that always waits outside to pick her up from school, not allowing any outside of school activities. Shiho mentions she's a "burnt-out failure" in the previous chapter, so I guess she failed to get into the prestigious school of her parents choice and is now forced to do nothing but study. Her being at the reunion shows she has some freedom now or has completely cut ties.

Right you are, however, I wonder if the stars in her eyes are an indicator of anything, as no one else besides Baiser seems to have them? My first thought is that the placement is meant to represent that the full extent of her abilities are less obvious than some of the others, which would make sense since Baiser’s power seems to come less from her actual abilities and more from the ways in which she uses them to break her opponents.

I personally just think they are part of her image rather than anything important to her power. She doesn't seem overly powerful herself at the moment, which makes sense with the 2 stars, just very good at tactics and leadership. Expecting a full super saiyan awakening in the upcoming battle where temporary horny stars become permanent.

Unless I'm mistaken, while her horns only show up when she transforms, they don't break away like the rest of her costume. That is, she's actually transforming, rather than just getting a costume like everyone else, thus those horns are part of her body and equivalent to her skin.

Because they aren't made out of cloth that instantly disintegrates like her clothes? There are also multiple times the horns are quite badly damaged and a bit broken (https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/looking_up_to_magical_girls_ch12#26) but for continuity purposes, she has to maintain some of her look through the comic and the horns are quite a distinguishing part of it. The star ornament around her collar bone doesn't get completely destroyed either. Basically stuff gets removed to make them naked while maintaining key aspects of their costumes. But hey, maybe she is turning into an actual dominatrix demon/succubus, only time will tell.

Here it mentions that it is the stars on their skin that count, so yeah, Baiser only has 2 stars but they multiply when he gets horny/excited. She doesn't have horns outside of her costume as well, so how are they not accessories?

This is what jumped out to me, commenting on how she looks like she has given up on humanity and then a creepy car waiting outside of the school. Dropping off the keys just seems like a way to delay her departure so Miwa doesn't see. Hopefully wrong though.

My guess is she and Yatsude were a thing back in middle school and one of the graduated senpais from the club is the reason they broke up.

I'd go with a one-sided crush if it is anything of the sort.

We just saw their first interaction on manga, and the fact Yatsude said "Fuji being Fuji", they already knew each other, but still it's their first interaction, the character development is not there yet.

Mycro is the one translating the manga, so they have a fair bit more information than us.

There's literally nobody else it can be, because all of the others already graduated, and none of them have been mentioned by name in the series. Plus, they wouldn't even be there.

True, they are first years so it can't be the film club in general and as all the rest have graduated, only leaves Yatsude. Though maybe she just straight up hates movies.
