That's the thing, I don't see it as bad writing at all. I think the writing is doing exactly what it sets out to do, and that being melodramatic doesn't mean it's poorly written.

Hot. Looking forward to more. Tbh tho, I didn't really pick up on any S vibes from the teacher up until the spanking started, but the story seemed to be implying they were there. Maybe I'm just not seeing it? I hope that gets focused on a bit more next chapter.
