I was really wondering where you draw the line
It's not like I hate it, I'm just not interested in watching another series that is, once again, a generic love triangle with a dull male protagonist. The ship is cute, and that's why I'm still curious about the show. When it comes to hate, I don't really hate anything, but I would be lying if I said that sometimes I get really salty when we are fed the possibility just to have that kind of end. You know what I mean? Also, it's kinda hard to find a consensus when it comes to distinguish what is bait and what is not...
Also yeah I'm enjoying Zatsu Tabi, it's fairly budgeted but it's cute
Zatsu Tabi feels like those vloggers that share their experiences in Japan. And from the perspective of a mangaka, which makes me think they had a very specific target group in mind. Like Mono, the series about traveling magakas.

@ObsessiveFingerLicker, I don't know if dropping the conversation about GCucks from another art work here is a smooth transition lol, I will say though that yeah I wish Machu and Nyaan were a pair.
I really love SulMio and I wonder when I'll fall in love with another Gundam couple like that, if there will be another.

@ the usual suspects:
The term "bait" is often used wantonly and with little regard to the intentionality it implies. Perhaps we need another term for things that look seem like yuri at first, but aren't. "Fool's Yuri", perhaps? Withal, GFoooooo is definitely bait:
Just look at how the very first episode was structured. Imagine a man-chu for a protagonist, bumping into a mysterious girl who suddenly drags him, an unqualified outside nobody into a world full of thrill and adventure. This is a classic shounen formula for setting up the main romantic interest. I'm unacquainted with any potential interfering production factors (but wouldn't rule them out), so after applying Occam's Razor it's pretty clear Sunrise saw the greater audience pull that GWitch had and decided to capitalize on it with perfectly wilful ambiguity and tease. Anything less would imply their marketing team is incompetent to the point of sabotage whilst coincidentally ep 1 and the ED are gay freak accidents.
For context, GBaaaaaaR is my first Gundam series ever and I dropped it after 4 episodes. I want to see if the weak start was only due to influence of one of the Trinity of overrated incoherence (hint: it's not Nasu or Kojima) but it failed in being any less ridiculous. Given the impeccable visuals yuri would've been a mere cherry on top for me, but I can't be reminded of other nostalgia-driven fishnet plot hotchpotches like Disney's Star Wars sequels and especially Pacific Rim: Uprising. Perchance I am just missing vital context, but I expected Gundam to be about war drama and not civilization-wide lead poisoning; as of now, I'll give it the No Game No Life-treatment: of "Ooooh, pretty colours. Just DON'T engage with the so-called plot at all."
Nevertheless I have to defend the male. From my perspective he already had more personality that any kiritoface could ever wish for, and in fact radiated prime Shaggy energy. But certainly, potential can be squandered.

^I know Nasu and Kojima have their issues and I won't say they're perfect, but as someone who likes both of them and various things they've done I'm over here thinking, Oi, let's not be rude. Though I think we have a lot of "agree to disagree" views on creatives and media, and that's fine lol
Also I don't know, when I was watching the series Shuji gave me more Kirito energy than Shaggy, but I suppose mileage will vary. Another agree to disagree moment heh
Anyhow, I think if we want to discuss this more someone should make a GCucks discussion thread on the forum, I don't want to keep being disruptive on GWitch art.

^If the forum has a system to move posts to other threads, it'd be good to create a GQuuuuuuX thread and move the discussion from here and the other image to a new thread.
Anyway, I'd be happy if MachuNyaa became canon, but I'll probably ship it even if it never does. I love Elle x Roux (which needs more shippers and more fanart) after all.
@Gray Shadow I think we have very different definitions of blonde
