Dunno why everyone's so hard against this one, I kinda liked it lol. Angsty, of course, but teenagers are angsty. It's their default state. This story uses that angst to set up an interesting premise with the obvious solution that they'll realize how dumb their internal monologues sound as they age and become a much more healthy couple
Well we have a difference in opinion is all, you might like the angst and find it believable for the characters, I personally thought it was overkill even for teenagers. Plus nothing in the story suggests they'll grow out of this toxicity and look back on it, the story paints the relationship as toxic in a very over the top way, and it ends there. Unfortunately some people don't grow out of being bad as teenagers and only get worse as adults. So while I'd like to believe your solution is how they'll progress, there's no clear evidence in the story that will happen, and I'm personally unsatisfied with the story. I didn't enjoy the way the angst, characters, narrative, and so fourth were handled. There's nothing wrong with us agreeing to disagree here, having a difference of opinion is perfectly fine. So while I didn't enjoy this work I'm happy that others might have gotten more out of it.
