It's surreal seeing a Whole Foods in a manga.

I was oddly mesmerized by it.

As much as I like the song I really should look into all of the stuff based on it one of these days.

I actually watched the Killing Slimes anime as I read the LNs for it and, with two exceptions, I think the LN is much more enjoyable. The bit with the Minstrel is better in the anime just because of the music. Then The Witch's Cafe ends up more enjoyable in the anime because they waited until the end to do that part so more characters end up involved in it which was just nice. In the LN not all of the main cast had been introduced yet at that point.

Outside of those two, yeah I highly prefer the LNs. You get a lot more detail in various moments, and a lot of moments happen a little differently. Also a few chapters got skipped outright by the anime. One of my favorite moments with Laika happens differently in the anime and it actually kinda bummed me out a bit cause in the LN it's a funny but sweet moment while in the anime it's enirely played for laughs.

Far as translation goes, the official English is up to 9 or 10, and there's a Beelzebub spinoff that has 1 volume.

I'll definitely get around to it eventually. At the moment I'm addicted to the Killing Slimes for 300 Years LNs. I'm on volume 5 at the moment.

I picked up the first LN volume for this recently, I really need to get around to actually reading it.

The manga aside, I'm glad to hear the author's health has improved.

I don't know why, but the translator notes, at the very end, giving the suggestion to resize if you're reading on Dynasty are really funny to me.

Like, I'm just imagining someone absolutely struggling to read it then getting to that at the end and being like

Their cover of Getcha is really damn good.

Dunno if it's a better cover than the self cover Kira and Giga did though. There's something really funny to me about two guys singing a song about dumping a shitty boyfriend.

^ so I just went and had a quick look through the manga and the first thing does happen, but unless President dresses up in that costume again later on I didn't see any panels with her in the costume with Sakura present.

It really does look like them in the thumbnail.

^ She pretty much did during the phone call where she more or less had a mental breakdown to Shima.

I really hope these two get to have a happy ending when all is said and done.

Well here's a pairing that I'd never have expected to pop up.

Welp, I think this gives me enough of an excuse to reread the series, again, for the like fifth time.

I've reread this way too many times since the last volume released in English.

I really hope we get to see plenty of these two being goofballs with each other in future chapters. Their interactions are so entertaining and cute.

Susie's hair at the bottom reminds me of Dan Avidan's hair and that is hysterical to me.

^ It feels a bit rushed towards the end, but it's still a good read.

Lily is absolutely talking about a ring for Heath.

Calli and Kiara absolutely love each other, it just isn't the romantic love that overzealous shippers want it to be.

Hehehe, I look forward to seeing more interactions between these two in the future chapters. They're both absolute dorks and I love it.

I haven't finished Chapter 2 yet, but these probably aren't based on Deltarune since Alphys and Undyne don't actually know each other in Deltarune, and the Deltarune version of Undyne has both of her eyes.
