@GorbashSmash, it's a bit janky, but you can use a save editor in ME2 to swap between Male and Fem Shep to get a Tali romance. You just have to lock in the romance as Male then switch back. It's not great in ME2 itself, but if you export a Femshep Tali romance into ME3 that way, it works pretty well and a surprising amount of the dialogue is voiced.
