Hm. Can't really get over how reckless this felt. Learning to swim at a very calm beach may be okay, but swimming out that far so soon? I'm a decent swimmer and I wouldn't want to go that far out into unknown waters on the beach.

Still, cute chapter and yes, what's in the bag?

Also I kinda wouldn't call that fanservice as far as beach chapters go... Hino-service? Sure, but to the reader it was pretty tame.

This one was a blast. Mashiro's so cute and the plot was just as wrong as I'd hoped.

Jesus poor girl has some terrible mommy issues, it's great this does not appear to be a toxic relationship, very cute and looking forward to more.

I think she was just dumbstruck, not trying to elicit a reaction (consciously or subconsciously). Could be wrong, though.
That's not to say that their relationship is healthy. I'm not sure they actually can have a healthy relationship given their issues and circumstances.

I like these two, even if they themselves don't. They're kinda cliché, but really cute, and I don't mind teenage characters being overly dramatic and cliché sometimes.

Caution, reading too many works from this author in one sitting could result in diabetes.

That's why I read them as soon as they come out, reading two really hits the spot after all.

I was actually quite happy with the assertion that we'll get a new chapter. The when is almost irrelevant at this point. What even is time anymore, the months fly by with unimaginable speed. Is it really the pandemic and its effects or am I just getting old?

Picking a bikini in her own size was foul play by Hino (which has never happened before, right?), I think in the right size it would have been nice on Koguma as well.

It's a bit less lewd, but you might enjoy Konbu Wakame's My Recently Hired Maid Is Suspicious. There's a webcomic version as well as a serialization, as I just found out - I only knew of the webcomic before now. The webcomic is in the form of shorts (4 pages or so per chapter) while the serialization is short to medium-length chapters (15-20).

Saying "It is I" is still wrong, and it only ever done to parody someone who is overly dramatic (like Leclerc in 'Allo 'Allo). The flub appears to have been fixed now though, but I would suggest they get someone to proofread the text before release.

To quote from this article on Merriam-Webster:
"While there was some heated debate about the matter in the 18th century—mostly a single It is me defender was quickly outnumbered by some influential It is I people—by the early part of the 20th century the majority of those who make recommendations about such things were acknowledging that it is me is perfectly fine, especially in informal use. Both forms have existed for centuries, with it is me tending to appear in more relaxed contexts even long ago."

Another explanation can be found on Thesaurus.org.

This does not mean, however, that the version used in the former edit was correct, only that what it seemed to allude to is.

Not "with I", "with he", or "with they".

Well... the phrase "It is I" instead of "It is me" is, at least in today's use, very stylized and formal, which alluding to may have been the intention here. I'm not convinced that "with I" can be correct, but considering creative license and how it kinda works for emphatic effect, I wouldn't fret over it.
