Thanks a lot for the new update! Super Cute chapter! but with a surprise ending!

it's posible Yori may have pull the trigger to early but I admire her bravery and that she really didn't left room for error lol.
While I am sure by the end they will be together, what matter is how they get there so it will be interest how their different "loves" go from here.
Anyway I love Yori and I wish her the best cause I get the feeling that she may get rejected at first but we'll see.
anybody knows if it's already on par with raws or when new chapters get released?

Apparently this month's yuri hime didn't had any chapter so... We're all caught up!

I see! thank you! guess is waiting time now ^^;
something I am wondering is, probably the love song Yori is writing maybe the realization Kino needs, but would the song alone be enough for her to see Yori in a romantic light rather than the admiration love she has right now?

so before the teacher arrive and the bar and we met the other mc, the first pages made me think that maybe it would be a story a between a teacher and the mother of one of her students, does anybody knows if there is a manga like that?

https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/ikenai_hito

oh! thank you! that was a nice one~ I see even the author thinks the Teacher X Parent isn't a very common pairing lol I hope there are more in the future.

Anyway, yeah why there are so many stuff here without description?
Also I am all to follow up flawed people's stories, but "Awful"? I don't know why, but it does give me a bad feeling... guess it's only on me if I keep reading and I don't like what may happen, guess a happy ending ain't happing in this one.

Apparently, the pedophile dude is a crossover character from another LN by the author, Detective Hanasaki Tarou. Quote: "Women reach their peak at the age of 15, and it's all downhill from there". So yeah.

...yikes, I am just hoping we don't get that kind of character being important (or being there at all) in the LN in later volumes...

so the mains of blue flowers or some other work of his end up with a dude at the very end as "twist"?

A side character who was interested in a girl later gets back together with her fiance and marries him. It's neither sudden, nor a twist. Honestly, that development has more build-up than the main characters getting back together. But from Aoi Hana and some of his other works, I don't think the author suddenly switches things around for the hell of it. The character arcs generally feel driven by actual character development, though often in a kind of twisted way. So that's why this promises to be interesting.

well even if they aren't developments I would like I am glad it seems they are proper developments and not just trying to screw with the readers/characters.

On the other hand at the opposite end of the spectrum is The Feelings We Must All Endure, which still comes back to me regularly to punch me in the gut.

That was the mostly unpleasant thing I've ever read, in terms of how I actually felt afterwards.

By the way I haven't read Sweet Blue Flowers, could I ask someone to tell me what went down in that story that seems to have mix opinions?

The highlights are that the pair on the cover take forever to get together, and then break up, and then get together again. But I don't think what actually happens in the story has anything to do with why opinions are mixed. It's a very, very slow story, with lots of deviations to focus on side characters, chapters where basically nothing happens, apparent reversals of previous plot events, and an incredibly sudden ending. Somehow, it feels both too long and too short. Personally, it's one of my favorite manga, but I understand why people don't like it.

I see! thanks for that summary~ personally I can enjoy slooow stories, so long as I care about the characters then I am fine, but it does sound somewhat tiresome to get through

will admit that I was expecting something different that would cause the angst/drama in a story about adult women, but oh well, I'll give it a couple of chapters to see if I wanna stay or not.

By the way I haven't read Sweet Blue Flowers, could I ask someone to tell me what went down in that story that seems to have mix opinions?

One problem I have with her work is way too much focuson side characters, sometimes to the point where the main characters do nothing for entire volumes. In Sweet Blue Flowers for example it spends WAY to much time on a side couple, the ending is even focused on their wedding rather than the main characters. I'm sure you are aware of all the "surprise het ending" jokes on this site, well, with her track record, that is an actual possibility.

huh, I like when side characters get focus but yeah that like way too much focus away from your mains, and yeah I've some jokes here and there but not the full context, so the mains of blue flowers or some other work of her end up with a dude at the very end as "twist"?

Wait wait if we're making demands, I want De Vito as the alien girl :I

But really, I think this is the first time I've heard of LN getting a new manga and also anime specially considering how soft this is compared to the latest yuri picked for animation.

I like to think that the way some works are picked for animation make it seems that is just one Japanese otaku with loooooooooooootts of money (bitcoins miner or yakuza who knows) who one day says "Yeah... I want this one, do the arrangements"

Or maybe is just the influence of Citrus and Bloom into you making a wave.... Either way is nice.

Yuri as whole it's just becoming more mainstream and profitable from the looks of it, another manga, Fragment I think?, is also getting an anime adaptation, and at least in the case of Adashima, it seems like a decently popular LN, what with it running since 2013, so it probaly seems like a decent bet for the people investing in it.

Also following the other joke, maybe not a netflix adaptation but by all means a regular Live Action adapatation wouldn't be too out there would it? although at that point there may be too much stuff at once.

huh, kinda surprised to the rather mixed reception I've seen this new vertion get, I don't think is that particularly fast paced really, it's basically the second half of the second chapter of the LN, "Future Fishing", but just removing the little blue girl and Shimamura's friends, more than likely for the sake of having the focus only on the two mains for the first chapter, it does lose some context of Shimamura's inner thoughts since those were following her chat with Yashiro but other than that I think it was a pretty nice chapter personally.

Nothing remplaces the original LN, and it's unfourtunate that the 4-koma version only made it at 3 volumes (hopefully it reached a nice point to end) since I also enjoy that one, but I am all for a "regular manga format" version of this story.

I am sucker for a manga with good use of panel composition, and while nothing really "great", I particularly like the use in pages 16, how it looked like they staring each other through the same page but from different panels, 17-18 with the panels foocus on their movement, 33 onhow it follow Shimamura's expression and inner thoughts and the set up-fake out in 34 and 35, I am gonna throw a dart at the dark and guess Yashiro also received mixed opinions over there lol.

As for the tone, I should re-read the first manga to fully confirm, but I feel like this one catches the overall feel of the LN a bit better, or at least the way how I think of it anyway, like all three are Slice of Life, comedy and yuri, I agree that this manga feels more focused on the yuri side while I personally feel the first one was more focus on the comedy side of it, again I should probably re-read it properly, but at least checking chaper 4, it feels that way to me.

I don't really feel their personalities really changed either, Adachi is less awkard but really at this point in the story, without her POV still not shown how much head over heels she is about Shimamura, and without the supporting cast it isn't shown how super awkard she is around other people, so sshe feel around awkard enough for me at this point of the story and Shimamura being less oblivious seems that way thanks to the focus of the chapter on selling the yuri angles, really, the lines that may make her seem less oblivious are also in the LN.

It's a bummer that the enire first chapter got skiped, though who knows it may be done eventually, but I am guessing Moke (assuming they are who made the desicion) wanted to use this chapter to show as many different beats of the main character's relationship in a single chapter to catch the attention of any reader who hasn't read the LN.

(Also, unless Yashiro REALLY didn't matter in the later LN volumes and was really just a crossover character/"early installment weirdness character" I am guessing she will appear eventually and was just excluded for the sake of not taking atention away from the mains)

Anyway, since I 've been procrastinating the last handfull of days and there won't be a Nettaigyo chapter this month, I've been thinking a lot in Adashimamura so I wanted to share my thoughs about the first chapter of this new adaptation, looking foward to following it!

Thanks a lot for all your work in this franchise sneikkimies!

gotta say I don't really get the opinion that Midori will eventaully see Haru as her child, seems the manga is being pretty clear that their relationship will be of friends.

anyway I am enjoying it so far~

Gotta say, reading some coments here and in Mangadex regarding people's displeasure with the way the story is going, as well as the reactions to the tweet from the Mnagaka are kinda disheartening :c
Currently, this one and "ani no yome to kurashite imasu" are my favorite mangas at the moment, and while I understand where other people's opinions are coming from I've still enjoyed pretty much every chapter, and I want to remain optimistic about the Author knowing where she is going with her story.
