I find it hard to call that "censorship". If anything it's an improvement. What does the game lose by replacing a cliche "tee hee! don't stare, you'll make me blush!" sort of line with one that actually relates to her character and her identity? I mean, it's not like we don't get ample dialogue with Dorothea being flirtatious.

I dunno. I feel like it's better with the change.

^Well, their B-rank support ended with Ingrid very intentionally proposing to Dorothea. No doubt about that. 100% what she meant to do. I think the next logical step would be showing their wedding day with a very emotional Dorothea and a very, very confused Ingrid.

Things we know about Aoi:
* She works as an OL.
* Generally good at whatever she does.
* She's not particularly happy with her life.
* She has a childhood friend(?) living with her.
* Said friend(?) is dependent on her.
* Getting married to someone she doesn't really know.

Things we know about Chi:
* Might have depression or something. (It looks that way to me at least. Some of her behavior is painfully relatable for me.)
* Not very pleasant to be around, generally speaking.
* She likes Aoi I guess? I don't see it, but I think it's meant to be implied that she does?
* Some sort of novelist or mangaka or something?

Maybe I've missed something important, I don't know. But I don't find myself caring enough to look for it. I don't know what I'm supposed to think about this. Is it supposed to be funny? Dramatic? Both? Something else entirely? Maybe it's trying to be nothing at all? If so, mission accomplished. I understand this is just the first chapter, but the first chapter should give me some reason to be interested. Maybe it's trying to get me interested by actually starting some time after the first chapter. That would certainly be... a bold idea? I don't know. Maybe I'll look through chapter 2 when it appears, but only because it might explain what the hell this was.

edit: wow this was made by the person who made Yurigurashi? I actually liked that one a lot, mostly. Maybe they're just better at short form stuff?

I'm probably going to regret throwing my hat into the ring here, but regarding ditching the guy, whether we should feel sorry for him or not, whatever... We know literally nothing about the guy other than "He has a good enough income". For all we know he could have been the perfect person for Aoi. For all we know he could have been a yakuza, or an alien, or a parakeet controlling a human-sized robot. There's literally nothing to judge here. I guess we're assuming he's just kind of average, but even then there's still no reason to like or dislike the guy, or to care at all. He was a background character. A plot contrivance the author put in so Chi could burst in and sweep Aoi off her feet. He's scenery.

Mezashi, as always, delivers.

It cracks me up how seriously they take their yuri incest drama. On top of the usual sibing rivalry being in this family would be a nightmare.

Depending on who you ask around here it could also be the sweetest of dreams.

RF4 is okay, but not spectacular. The only thing I was disappointed by was the cast, which was largely quite forgettable. Aside from that the gameplay has only improved, and there's a ton of content in there.

There's no yuri at all, not even subtext, and if you select the female protagonist you're locked in to romancing guys (and vice versa). Like Mochinochi said, you can change your appearance after a certain point, but functionally the game treats you as what you started the game as.

All in all, it's a decent entry in the series, but you wouldn't be missing out on much if you skipped it. I'd hold off for RF5 now that we finally know it exists.

Such a thing couldn't possibly exist! If there truly were some magical method to express one's thoughts to others it might allow us to avoid such intense drama and angst! Nay, on this matter we have no choice but to accept reality, lest we lose ourselves within the realm of fantasy.

It depends on what the “it” is that’s getting hot, but in this context, no, hot is not a major problem.

In any case, I’m sure Tadokoro’s mom would be willing to definitively answer their question.

I'm half expecting Tadokoro's mom to burst into the room and say "And remember to practice safe sex!"

Gotta say, Tatsubon is really good at drawing attractive faces. Especially the one's with more... let's just call them "flustered" expressions.

Chapter four has a variety of great expressions. I'm especially fond of page 1, panel 3, that piercing gaze on page 2, and page 3, panel 1 is just gorgeous.

Chapter five's last page is wonderful. That second panel is so cute.

Chapter nine is fantastic, and let's be honest, that last page is pretty goddamn erotic, and I think any of us would feel the same way as Nikaidou if we were in her shoes.

Incidentally, I was actually thinking about this yesterday, and how it felt like the previous chapter would have been an okay point to end the webcomic at, then switch focus to the manga version. It was a high point, what with Tadokoro-mom all but saying "oh by the way, you're a good girlfriend, keep it up!"

I'm happy to see the story continue though! This is among my favorite series.
