Also, Leizi fans rejoice - she got a small buff in that update, as her electric bounce range increased and had its damage reduction reduced from 25% to 20% (ie when she hits one enemy and her electricity bounces to another one, it does 80% damage instead of 75%). It's really not much, but considering how rare direct buffs like these are I'll take it.

I'm echoing a lot of other people here in that this series is a lot more fun than I was expecting going into it. Koiko being a (mostly) unabashed pervert and Nika being a tsundere sadist work well together; it reminds me a bit of The Real Her (which I also loved).

The fact that Koiko and Nika have the same reactions to being caught and finding out it was NIka's recorder was great - they really are meant for each other.

Saw this mentioned on Discord, but it seems like the official English manga by SevenSeas changed some things in their translation. One example being this part with Rod from an early chapter:

Left is the fan translation (which I understand is more accurate) and right is the SevenSeas version. There's probably more changes besides this. Can't say I'm a fan, considering the entire point of the original line was lost on both accounts (Rod's implying Rei's a noble and her father was the reason she's at school, both of which are completely wrong). Also it's making Rod seem like even more of an arrogant fuckboy than he originally was lol

Volume 2 of the novel also had some cut lines for some reason. Supposedly at least some of these will be getting fixed in updated versions, at least.

On a serious note, I'm also surprised at that the whole compensated dating and blackmail was resolved already, given the title. Though to be fair, the title is "That Time I was Blackmailed" and not "I am being Blackmailed". But now that I saw that event currency is called Mieszko Match Tickets, I'm 100% convinced it's supposed to be Poland. So, it seems like game decided to reward me for all my suffering with all those spooks and why not and so my single 10 roll went incredibly well.
