I tried to explain it a bit comprehensively but it just sounded so stupid I couldn't bear to post it. tl;dr men often don't consider women as legitimate competition for their SO's, thus their SO's playing around with a woman is not a threat to their relationship, whether technically "cheating" or not. Toss in heterosexuals tending to aesthetically enjoy homosexual behaviour of the opposite sex, and you've got "my girlfriend cheating on me with another girl is hot and cool."

This feels like bait, but maybe that's just what happens when you disagree with somebody.

Yuni obviously has SOME self-esteem, as shown by placing herself above Nanase's old crush. Yuni just seems frustrated that she can't spend any intimate time with her girlfriend.

You can classify Nanase's actions as manipulative, but I don't think it's out of maliciousness. To me she just seems like a busy milquetoast who's deeply anxious over a past poor experience with being seen as gay.

Fuuko is pretty obviously pushing Yuni towards cheating on her girlfriend, or at the very least being quite intrusive (she literally voyeured Yuni and Nanase), which personally makes me place her in "stinky" tier rather than "rocks" tier.

Really good post btw, the beginning was funny and poignant.

You're right, top-tier story. Mine isn't as good, but eh. I sent a guy friend who is not super comfortable with the gays this video titled "Korra's Burning Love for Asami Ignites" on accident a year ago and then said "whoops." He replied with a simple "lol" and I was just hysterical at my mistake for the rest of the day.

Sorry for the delay, but I would basically say the same as above. In the near-future we'll have a much better system internally for responding to tag suggestions. Cheating tag preemptively added. It doesn't matter if the story doesn't treat the cheating element seriously or use cheating as a theme. Some readers actively wish to avoid such content, so it's being tagged for their sake.

Bisexual will not be added for now. This is not for lack of evidence, really. The older character is clearly married to a man and interested in someone of the same sex. However, we do not tag incidental bisexuality for (essentially) meaningless or off-screen characters. If the husband becomes more prominent, or bisexuality is explored as a theme, we'll re-visit it at that time.

Few small tag updates.

Fuzoroi no Renri now has pairing tags, as follows: Iori x Minami, Heke x Shinohara, Saori x Shizuku, Kujou x Sugimoto. (These are yet to be applied, I'll get there.)

Fake History and Historical were inconsistently applied and sort of redundant, so they've been merged into just Historical for all content with those themes.

No, I didn't say that. The use of a negative is admittedly confusing, but I only took issue with those who are "convinced she is not a woman." One could be unsure of her gender and my statement would have nothing to do with them, I was pretty much in this uncertain camp till the end because I wasn't sure where the story was headed.

Then you go on to make a bunch of really condescending remarks about real people and their choices, concluding that this conversation is somehow oppressing the freedom of young females.

Apologies for the condescension, but I really don't mean to imply that anyone is being "oppressed" by forum comments. I imagine some comments here could make someone feel bad about themselves. That's it. I sought to add some context (both real and fictional, including in this story) to the conversation because I saw very little of it otherwise, and reading the same thing over and over isn't very fun. Doing it as aggressively as I did surely undercut that effort though, so it was stupid of me to do that.
