i was reading this and notice:
アルゲンクルス=Arugencruz, this can translate as Argencruz (Argentun + Cruz) meaning Silver cross.

Hey, that's actually really clever! Would have never crossed my mind that the author was using the Latin for silver, but that would totally fit thematically given the church's name.

I'll definitely consider changing the spelling in future chapters, and probably ask the typesetter to fix the previous chapter where it showed up.

Glad I posted this here lol.

Shower scene was criminally short.

I promise the next chapter will more than make up for it, look forward to it.

Curious why you went with "Priest Marco" - "Father Marco" would be the correct address if Catholicism is the reference point.

Honestly I think I just didn't make the association. With Shanon the pope used the English "brother" (ブラザー) so because I didn't see the English "father" I defaulted to priest since they used 司祭. I don't know much about Japanese Christian honorofic language. I might correct this later, though so far (chapter 11) it hasn't appeared again so I'm not too worried.

Dorothy's name was actually kind of a pain to translate because it seems like the author wanted it to be Spanish/Italian but they seemingly misspelled it, so I had to do a bit of guess work with another translator who speaks Spanish.

If anyone wants to have a guess her name in Japanese is: ドロレス・リリィ・アルゲンクルス

Her last name is actually glued together in the original Japanese script but I know for a fact Cruz is always a separate name so I split it, because "alguencruz" isn't a real name.

Note we started including the illustrations the author posted on twitter for each chapter at the end now. here are the ones for chapters 1-4 which have been retroactively added to the previous chapters.

Oh, also, I think the word in the title is supposed to be "Gunblade," in reference to Maria's absurd half-gun half-sword superweapon.

It's not I'm pretty sure. Blade is ブレード, but the title has バレッド. The author himself spells it as "gunbured", with "red" highlighted in red, likely a reference to "red sisters", and I think the first half is meant to come from gun bullet.

In other news, cause I don't have anywhere else to share this and figured someone here might care, volume 2 is coming out soon, and to my surprise it is coming with comments from Akasaka Aka on the obi (the little jacket on physical manga), author of Kaguya-sama: Love is War. The comments by Aka state Mitogawa Wataru has been his friend for 10 years now, since the time they were both assistants, and he says the one thing that hasn't changed is Mitogawa's fetishes for strong women. I was really surprised to see the two are long time friends, but it's great to see Aka endorsing this manga.

Oh and of course enjoy chapter 4, cause now we finally have a plot going on in this craziness!

Quick note that "Noel" is typically the spelling of the male version of the name, and "Noelle" the female. Assuming it's originally written "ノエル", you should use the latter romanization.

As far as I can tell, "Noel" is a genderless name. Wikipedia confirms it's used for boys and girls, and I've seen several Japanese characters named Noel who spelled it like that as well. It's also easier to typeset, being shorter (longer names can run into trouble in smaller bubbles)

There are specifically female variations on the name, with Noelle being one of them (particularly in French), but because this is a work of fiction not explicitly set in any one country, I'm gonna go with Noel for now.

I'll change it should the author give an official romanization of her name.

It's been so long since I translated something for here, but it feels good to be back. I'm so happy I managed to get Helvetica to pick up one more yuri aside from Magical Girls. Soon there will only be yuri
Rest assured I have read ahead and I can assure you the yuri levels only rise, not decrease, so I hope you're all excited for this jesus approved story.
Plan is to release a new chapter weekly until we catch up, at which point it'll be released monthly when the magazine comes out. There are currently 10 chapters out.

damn, the mom sucks... i don’t understand the end, I don’t get why what kaoru said were words of warning?

She probably meant to indirectly tell Uta they're important family and nothing more, hence words or warning.

Also, A Report on How I was so Sad that I Went to A Lesbian Brothel? Which one's the more accurate title?

The original title literally reads as "A report on When I Was so Lonely I Went to a Lesbian Brothel". Lewd Gamer got the grammar right, but they used the wrong adjective. And I think in this case, the "lonely" bit is quite important when you consider the entire story is about how the author had nobody, rather than how the author was "sad". She wasn't "depressed", she just didn't have a place where she felt like she belonged, where she could be herself. I know I'm arguing semantics but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The title being used on the manga itself is the one the author themselves wrote, which is an incorrect translation. As is usually the case when Japanese people try to translate their own things while being unaware of how English functions.

While I can't say I have been through something like this, I can definitely feel the amount of effort the author put into visualizing her emotions and showcasing them to others in this story. This manga is quite a heartfelt tale, and when you know the backstory behind it, it makes it all the more painful. In Japan, talking about mental health issues is not a common thing, and to see an author come out with a tale of this sort is a wonderful thing and I hope it helps other people going through similar issues find something.

Sadly, it seems like the author has not reconciled with her family in real life as her parents just sort of feigned ignorance to this whole ordeal, but I'm happy to see she at least got the strength to publish a manga and get her feelings out. I hope she's doing better now and keeps doing so in the future.

I read some pretty shit scans based off of Chinese translations before this because yuri project was taking forever with their releases (and I'm too thirsty for Citrus and Seven Seas only publishes volume 5 in a few months), but reading this latest chapter was basically the same as reading that translation based off of those Chinese scans, holy shit.

I didn't expect this from yuri project. Did someone even quality check this?

I guess I might as well wait for volume 5 to be published by Seven Seas and read it from them.

Damn it, I already have so many yuri manga to buy in 2017, I don't think I'll have enough spare money for this ;_;

Also praying yen press does a good job with this title, considering their track record (still salty over those No Game No Life light novels...)

Before this turns into an argument, I'd like to clarify the original word in the Japanese script was 風俗嬢 (fuuzokujou), and the literal meaning of it is "a woman who works in the sex industry".

Now obviously I couldn't write all of that out when I was translating, so I thought the best word to use there was "prostitute", but I'd like to point out Aya is really just saying she's not some kind of sex toy to be tossed around willy nilly.

Perhaps it's my fault for using the word prostitute, but oh well.

This isn't really netorare, just regular old cheating, I was a bit disappointed because I wanted some legit netorare action, but it was alright.

Can someone explain why the sky changes of colour from part 3 to part 4 ? Did they stay like this on the roof for hours ? Didn't they skip classes ?

The yuri was so strong it bent time and space.

Nosebleed, you know if MAGICAL NIPPLE KISS+ is really the first part in the serie? Just asking because it's the only one with + in the name, so I was wondering if there was one before it showing how they met.

According to the author's pixiv there is one that came before Magical Nipple Kiss+, but I never found any scans or info on where to buy it, so I'm not really sure what's up with it.

Looking at Magical Nipple Kiss+, after the main story ends, it has that same story that's on that pixiv post I just linked, so I guess this initial story is more of a draft that was included with Magical Nipple Kiss+.

Thus I don't believe there is a story of how they met.

TL;DR Magical Nipple Kiss+ is probably just a better version of the initial Magical Nipple Kiss so you're not missing out on anything.
