Actually, three chapters of volume 2 have been translated, but the scan groups keep either disbanding or (apparently) dropping it. It's especially frustrating that someone must have scanned it, but the raws don't seem to be available anywhere. Though perhaps if someone else wanted to pick it up, they might be able to get them from the "current" group...

Getting shot through the chest is pretty serious, but it's nothing compared to the damage sustained from having your manuscript rejected, so I'm sure Komari will be fine.

I'm nearly halfway through School Zone now and I've gotta say first, I did not realise just how many avatars are here come that manga. Second, I can totally understand why, now that I've read quite a bit of it. Not only great setting and designs, but really memorable characters and sequences that left me going, "Oh! Now I get that avatar!" Not a lot of series I've read have that kind of energy, it's pretty neat.

I'm currently still slogging through the Dynasty back catalogue, and it's quite fun spotting where all the avatars come from. More fun than reading the actual manga, in some cases, but I'm sure I'll eventually be able to identify which ones I should avoid...

It always irks me somewhat when the translation doesn't match what's actually in the picture. Why is Mika-sensei (or Haruka-sensei, or whatever it's supposed to be), talking about a jacket when she clearly wasn't wearing one? Shouldn't that be "skirt"?

Also, I seem to be complaining about this series a lot, but actually it's quite fun, all things considered.

Three years after this part finished, the chapter numbering is still weird. There are two 18s, and no 19 or 20. Also, it says there's an untranslated 4-koma chapter, but is that still the case, or was it referring to Going to Tokyo and Kase-san, which got added later?

This manga made me smile occasionally, and scowl a lot. The scowling was due to me unconsciously imitating Takebe, not because I hated it, but on the other hand I couldn't really bring myself to love it either. (Apparently that's a minority view...) The origami roses were sweet, though.

I thoroughly recommend it.

I wouldn't call it an asspull. The swords' powers were introduced long before this, "Hollow" just should have known better than to let this one go.

Besides, she very clearly either pulled the sword out of her chest or the air around her, and not the anal cavity. Definitely not an asspull. No hero would ever stab someone with a shit-coated sword (apart from Sir Kay, but he was always a bit of a weirdo).

To everyone reading this: Please exercise utmost caution when pulling swords out of your ass, due to the sharp edges. Parental supervision is recommended.

This chapter was quite depressing. I mean, it's been nearly 70 years since the occupation ended, and the Japanese are still under the impression that ketchup and processed cheese constitute proper ingredients. The Americans have a lot to answer for.
