From what I know of drinking ages in modern times, China is 18 and Japan 20. Though I don't know how strict it is, as some cultures are more casual about drinking, and vary with how strongly they enforce drinking laws I think. I don't know about ancient times, which I figure Genshin would probably lean more into, when there might have been less or at least more relaxed laws about drinking, depending on the country of course.

I haven't kept up with Genshin in awhile so maybe this question has been answered, but is there even a "drinking age" in the game's setting? Though it's not like that keeps people from drinking regardless lol

It's the same as with Asexuality. In a society that heavily enforces monogamy and allosexuality as the norm, both tend get irrationally vilified for varieties of 'reasons', sadly.

From what I've seen bisexuality also receives a lot of hate as well, and various other things but I think we're probably getting too off topic on this manga discussion thread. All I can say is Poly, Monogamy, or however it goes I'm curious how this series will progress, and how all of the relationships will unfold.
