I do suspect she's not just doing this to help Nagashima, though, but also as part of her plan to force out the truth. At least looking at everything else she said. But we'll see...

Would be the perfect reaction in a perfect world, to be honest. Where this would get as much of a reaction as saying you're straight. Since it's still the same person, and it really should be seen as normal to be straight, gay, bi, whatever.
