@PineconeJuice No. She really did say that she wants a cosplayer girlfriend. Based on the context of the scene (her becoming a pro gamer and thus getting sponsorship deals) and taking her character into account (you seriously expect HER to imagine herself being one?)– the scene only ever makes sense with her wanting a cosplay gf.
Edit: Seriously though, where did you even get that "confirmed to be a misinterpretation"? The only people I ever saw whining over this panel are homophobes in denial.

Not to mention that most, if not all, Japanese BTR fans read it as her wanting a cosplayer GF just fine.
