I was concerned about Advent as soon as I knew about this “twin sisters. One channel.” thing. Don’t get me wrong, it is very unique and will be huge but the shipper can get a little out of hands and may make the girls uncomfortable.

TLDR: COVER knew what they were doing and the twins are going to get shipped. They might be uncomfortable. Don’t bother the real persons while they are streaming.

I was one of the people shipping Lumine and Amber so hard that when Eula came out, I denied all possibilities that Eula and Amber could became a ship, despite the obvious hints. In fact, it even came to a point where I was holding onto Yanfei and Eula just because I wanted to ship Lumine and Amber. So I get what you mean. To all Eula Amber shippers out there, your ship is a great one with very good dynamics... but I just want to hold onto my first ship.

But Star Rail is different tho. It could be different because Stelle has so much potential. Caelus as well but I’m going with Stelle because yknow, yuri . Stelle has all the necessary stuff to be a great protagonist that she doesn’t have to be just a “player insert” . She already has great chemistry with the express crew with her own little unique charm (trash cans and all). Especially with March with both of them reacting to each other’s funny dialogues. Well, even if it’s not official, here’s to hoping more STARCH crumbs from the developers!

^ the MC ain’t player insert if she is a whole character of her own. Names, personality, drip, hobbies (trash can exploration and trying to defeat the “hotel devil”) and likes. They’re just too unique to be seen as self insert. In that case, we’re just playing the MC’s story. Not ours. And it’s definitely possible because we actually got a taste of playing from someone’s POV when we played from Dan Heng’s perspective in the story, and he just talked less there so the players are given a “choice” in dialogue with little difference in outcome. Unlike Genshin where the protagonist’s personality were a lot more general and Paimon being the personality most of the time.
