Ngl, this was in line to be one of my favorite manga like 10 chapters ago but anyone feel like it's kinda starting to drag on? Endless new characters, chapters where nothing basically happens. Just feels like the manga is in the serialization goop now, where its just stretching out chapters as long as possible and each chapter accomplishes less and less as a result. The momentum has been severely drained and the overall story doesn't feel as focused anymore.

The three-way relationship which included two of the same person stuff honestly was kind of weird and imo weaker than the chapters that came before it but the ending is satisfying. Far from a perfect work but considering how many promising yuri works completely botch later chapters/the ending, I'd say this manga definitely deserves some praise, nice read.

Chapter 94 and they're still in the middle school flashback arc??? Haven't all the volume covers been using their high schooler images even though we never made it that far lol

Knowing Muku-sensei's pixiv account, I'm legitimately surprised I was able to enjoy reading this. I definitely don't mind that it was mindless fluff since it's usually what I like reading unless it's the other side of the spectrum where it's completely messed up like KitaKawa or something like that.

This got me curious for the author's pixiv and uhh... let's just say that curiosity killed the cat

Am I missing something? It looks normal to me? I didn't go deep dive or anything but I skimmed a couple of pages.

Mine was neither a skimming nor a deep dive, but somewhere in between. probably closer to the former than the latter, but still enough for me to regret it

It's porn, folks. Het porn at that. If you're not signed in to pixiv then the R-18 stuff is automatically hidden.

@flowsthead

Agreed. I don't see why the author decided to waste so many chapters on making sure every side character gets a happy ending/new love interest then skimp out on the Kasumi/Kyouko ending when the first 4 volumes were entirely about Kasumi. Not to mention each pity couple just got superficial setup happy endings. The manga just feels so unfocused and "fluff". Too safe and forgettable.

I want Fuu to win since Konomi won in the original work but I think it will be some love triangle mess. To be fair, in the original work it was leading up to a triangle as well right before it ended so I guess it was already pre-determined and the serialization is just changing the order the triangle forms.

I kinda like where Saori and Shizuku are right now. I was never a fan of "leftovers" couples so it's nice to see these two not immediately enamored with each other when Saori's whole back story is that she loves her onee-chan passionately.

Heke x Shinohara tho. Heke already has the full setup ready, she knows her editor likes her, she knows the editor is her gaming buddy, just take the final step!

The poly chapter was so bad, the author had to quickly retcon all the threesome setup and then get axed the very next chapter lol

Agreed with everyone here tho that it really is a waste of such nice art and character designs.

Reading these chapters give me a smile on my face but I could help but think these could have been like 5 different single couple mangas. Harem just inevitably leads to unsatisfying conclusions where no one gets picked or everyone gets picked with superficial relationship developments.

It's not too late to do a cop-out "I want nobody to be sad!" threesome ending but this looks like they're going for the SayoxMei victory. Makes me think the chapter where they showed the poly relationship to setup a poly ending REALLY bombed with readers and author had to shift gears as a result. I sure hope so, poly endings suck lol

Also did the axe drop? This sense of urgency came out of nowhere lol

Lol, that last panel.

Anyways Momo that's why I have to be... Superman 4: The Quest for Peace. Camera zooms away from the school.

Eh. Last volume kicked the pacing to mach-5 and ending feels kinda like a cop out with the "I don't choose anybody," though that's maybe just me because I don't like polygamy/OT3/group relationship endings.

Why was the main couple so neglected compared to the Senpai couple lol

Feels like the author just stopped caring about the main couple and had to be reminded to wrap up their story when the manga got axed.

There's something oddly surreal about how I started reading this in highschool back when they were highschoolers and now I'm a full time worker post-college and seeing them graduate from college. I felt time moved fast in thisd manga, but really time moved fast around me too.

I need more of this. No gimmicky premise to lure readers in. No prolonged drama arcs to stretch serialization length. No giant buildup story that ends when the two finally confess. Just a simple manga following the everyday stories of a couple in love. All my thumbs up.

Did this manga get axed? The ending feels kinda out of the blue and the previous chapters did not give the vibe that they were building towards a conclusion. Also Mochida got way too much focus to just end with a vague conclusion, Haruki doesn't feel like she got her character arc payoff either.

Now that I think, one thing I don't quite understand is how do anime characters not taste the difference between their smooth tea and bitter, hard taste of alcohol, that shit is NOT subtle even in mixed drinks, especially for people who never drink. Even if you're a lightweight, after the 1st sip you'd be like bruh. Not drink more until you pass out lol

I guess it may depend on the person. I used to have no real problem with the taste of alcohol myself until the one time I truly got drunk, after which it's been exactly as you described, I can feel the bitterness so strongly I hardly ever drink anymore. A lot of people I've talked to can't even understand what I mean by that bitter taste, though, thinking I just exaggerate.

I mean, not just tolerance with alcohol but just the fact that it tastes noticeably distinct from something you're expecting to taste. If you order water and they give you sparkling water, you'd notice immediately because of the carbonation and be like hey, this probably isn't my drink, not just keep drinking, oblivious and being like I guess water always felt this angry in my mouth. There isn't many drinks that can be confused with the distinct taste of alcohol that you unknowingly get drunk, especially not tea.

Tbh, I found the final volume to be under expectations for what is otherwise a good manga. Creepy bro is front and center for half the chapters and the time travel explanation honestly takes more away from the main couple instead of adding on to their relationship and enhancing the story. It's a shame they spend most of the last volume introducing and trying to flesh out creepy bro and a whole new character to explain the whole time travel plot while leaving Pure and Akira on the back burner and then just use the last chapter for a rushed cut to wedding day.

Still a decent read but I feels like it really botched the landing after a strong first two volumes.

Hoo boy, the content is great but the paneling can be a bit confusing to navigate. I think each individual panel is consistently right to left in dialogue but the order to read the panels isn't consistent from page to page.

Lol just reading this chapter, I knew it was not gonna be popular in comments. I still think it's so random that we had that Senpai arc which was a pretty typical yuri romance story sandwiched in-between... well, a more shameless ecchi manga situated in animeland where these nudity scenes aren't really thought of as that out of the ordinary or inane. Feels like this is the author's first yuri serialization or something and they just wanted to get all there story ideas published, even if it didn't particularly make sense to have them under one banner.

Can't wait for this new character to end up getting more character development and traits than Momo just like the others.

For Yukiko one-shot standards, this is actually one of her more wholesome works lol

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, DON'T END

This manga honestly snuck up on me. Watagiri Saya's previous works were honestly kinda boring so I had no expectations but this quickly became one of my favorite ongoing reads and I'm sad the manga's climax also signified the end. Regardless, this was a great read and much thanks to the scanalators for timely releases!

Soooo much dialogue. I gave up fully reading a lot of the panels, haha.
