1: Putting their confession in a public space to pressure the other party.
2: Trying to blame everything on the other party when they back out of it with lies.
Subtext sure has gotten a different meaning these days.. that was about as straight forward a confession (that was misunderstood) that I've seen in a while.
If you are interested in Lobotomy Corp, I'd suggest either trying it (steam returns within alloted time frame) or looking up one of those non-spoiler intros.
If you end up not finding it your style there are plenty of good playthroughs available on YouTube.

And if you think this story is horribly fucked up then I don't know what to tell you.. there's plenty of far worse stories out there, some even on this site from what I recall. They just don't revolve around nazis and holocaust so people just pass them by.
