Is this some "gotta delete my internet footprint" thing? Since your work is already rehosted on many scraper sites that will never take it down anyways, is there any point in this? Will you give up this tantrum if we get sankaku or some other gossip site to post "Arckuno, translator for Binbou Scanlations, wants THESE CHAPTERS deleted from Dynasty" as a big, bold headline?

Adventuring party allegory for workplace sexism? I am extremely into this.

It's exactly that.

I suspect that commenters who complain about "unrealistic asshole male characters" don't realize that all the male characters in this story are very realistic portrayals of the sort of men that populate every workplace in Japan.

OLs don't have to worry about stab wounds. I understand that that was the intent, but the result of attempting to mix office culture and life or death combat scenarios is a bunch of incoherent nonsense.

I mean, is it wrong for women to have their own power trip story that pokes holes at the concept of useless equipment and gender roles? The series is a lot of dumb fun, with plenty of moments that make you roll your eyes, but sometimes you go on a discussion board and realize "oh wow, there are actually people that think this way about women".

I completely get what you're saying though, I just know a lot of people will hate on it solely for how it addresses at gender roles and depicts men so negatively, so I felt a need to try providing some defence. Its completely fine to just find it not to your taste.

Of course. It's not wrong to indulge in a simple wish fulfillment fantasy. It's not a crime for there to be an ocean of shitty harem isekais, or revenge porn. But for the same reason I don't read Healer Redo, or any of the countless terrible harem stories out there, I won't read this. I don't really want wish fulfillment. I want a believable world, complex characters, and an engaging plot. None of which you'll find in Exiled.

Don't take the whole "men are exaggerated assholes" as a personal attack from the author, the sexism angle is a driving force of why the MC hates everything she has to live with. Theres plenty of starry eyed ideal world occurrences that happen, but is it wrong for this series to have it when the market is completely saturated with seasonal self insert harems?

Oh, I don't think it's personal, it just breaks my SoD. I can't engage with the story seriously when the world is that nonsensical. That's just how I interact with fiction. I don't begrudge other people their enjoyment, but I figured I should at least offer a heads up to anyone else like me.

Like, the people in this thread asking why she's dressed like that? The answer is literally "because the men say that's what women have to wear." It offers no special defenses. It's not like Dragon Quest bikini armor where it's just assumed to work the same as full plate. Women adventurers in this world are just expected to dress like that and take the stab wounds as they come. I can't take that seriously. It's just not something I can overlook.

Just a heads up, this eventually turns hard into "all men are cartoonishly evil to the point of complete absurdity." If you're just in it for the gay, there's plenty of gay. But if shit like "women wear bikini armor despite it offering no defense and get stabbed in the stomach because men tell them to" breaks your SoD, you won't be able to enjoy this story.

So why is he bleeding at around page 57? And can you already have a full transformation nowadays or is modern medicine still limited? It always sounds more like a substitute to ease the mind a bit.

A flashback to middle school starts on that page, to when Chiaki began menstruating. Takatou helps him out by changing pants with him.

Don't reply to trolls.

Good manga, very well done story. Although that facial hair he has at the end is awful, I hope it keeps growing in, or he gets comfortable enough to start shaving it.

I would do that if it was anyone other than Irodori. I'm not giving my money to those scumbags.

I don't understand why they spent 36 chapters getting to the starting line of a relationship and then two chapters on the actual race.

I thought this one was pretty weak. It mixes the two issues of "male Nico can't be an idol" and "male Nico is the wrong fucking sex" in order to sidestep the question of whether the swap was a good thing. Obviously it's a bad thing if it destroys Nico's dream, but what if Maki's wish wasn't so stupid-malicious and made her into a man without killing her dream? Male idols already exist, even.

I dunno, seemed like a very shallow and weak exploration of the concept.

Did you make him aware that his works will still be instantly pirated on torrent sites anyways, so this move accomplishes nothing?

Wait till the guy will be revealed to be a total creep, abuser or a jerk to get the excuse for yuri turn like with many other manga nowadays. Plus it's not a yuri title.
Or maybe the other girl will date the glasses boy for some twisted reason like with most works like this.
Either way clearly this is not a work aimed at people who like yuri, but for the ones who love pointless drama and love triangles.
We have that other "gem" like run away with me girl or the unrequited love one so sems this genre is growing.

Not everyone who likes yuri has to like it the same way you do. I get it if this story doesn't seem like your thing, but that doesn't make it "pointless drama" or "not yuri." It's just not your preference.

First, and above all, remember that everyone is here to have fun and enjoy yuri together. Being overly aggressive, insulting, and generally a jerk to other commenters is against the rules. So don’t do it.

From the forum rules. If you're in a thread just to attack and try to drive off people you disagree with, this is not the site for you. Please leave.

You can cling on to whatever you like. It's certainly not like Okazu's opinion on anything actually matters. But I wouldn't expect any more scanlations unless you're willing to commission them.

With the release of a new chapter and a return of this series to my immediate notice, I feel obligated to chime in late in this discussion thread with a single contribution to the ongoing dialog.

"Viz did it too!" is not a good argument. Big companies that pay their employees make all sorts of stupid, awful mistakes all the time. The fact that money is being exchanged for labor has zero meaningful correlation to the quality of that labor. For the purposes of this post I have no opinion over whether the accent was the right choice or not. I merely needed to point out that this particular argument is quite terrible, and should not be made by anyone, ever.

Thank you.

I can endure the Scottish accent. It's not the end of the world. But when people are talking about including translation notes for your translation? To me, that's kind of a sign that the cart may be in front of the horse.

That was a pretty good ending, but it's a shame we don't get to see their post-climax daily lives. It would have been amazing to see this manga transition into being 4koma lesbian Negima.
