Hehe, isn't that the reality of it? Even though I'm pretty tall now, I still suck as much at basketball as I did before I grew tall! And, yeah, I agree that it felt... really jumbled, and I don't really see the need for this random new dude. Replacing Captain Marvel with a female character turned out to be a very popular move, and she has a dedicated fan base. The female version of The Question was also well received, and far as I know the female Thor still sells better than the male Thor did for a long time.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, Carol and Renee are both awesome characters and they're both very well-liked, but I feel like making Mar-Vell or Vic female out of the blue wouldn't go over so well. I mean, Mar-Vell has been dead for, what, 30 years now, so I don't think anyone but those dumb purists would really care about that, but Vic is a more beloved character who didn't die shortly after his first appearance. Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but I know that there are many out there who would... Though it is apparently an alternate universe character, so... I guess if, I don't know, Donutman was introduced in an alternate universe then was made Donutwoman in the main universe, it'd be pretty different.

Well, technically, Wolverine is female now that Logan bit the bullet and X-23 replaced him. But, yeah, I know it'd be different if instead of replacing him with a female character, they actually made him female. That being said, I don't see the problem with making Broly female since, I mean, it's not a female Broly can't be a madwoman wanting nothing but destruction... I mean, I've never watched DBZ, but I can't imagine that a character's sex is really an integral part of any of the characters.

I don't watch DBZ, so I have no idea what's going on here, but... a female Saiyan sounds sweet! Hopefully, it's actually a female Broly (whoever that is...) and not misdirection or something.

Also, just watched the first episode of Kobayashi-san! It was a great episode... even if they did excise some of the best parts of the manga, it still retained a lot especially considering that they seem to have crammed 4 chapters into 1 episode. Perhaps, if this continues, we'll get to Elma, Tooru's dad, and Iruru before the season closes... heck, we might even get farther than the current manga translation. Yeah, probably not... these first 4 chapters were relatively content-light, but I imagine they'd spend more time on the heavier ones. Random question: was that nightmare thing and the Tooru practicing her "Welcome home" routine thing at the end original additions or were they just pulled from future chapters? I don't really remember those scenes in the manga, but, then again, I don't really remember anything.

Finally watched the premiere! I'm disappointed that they got rid of the "TRAINS CAN'T BREATHE FIRE" part, but it was a very solid first episode. Looking forward to the rest!

Hmm, maybe I'll have to give Urara a shot some time if it gets even more yuri-y down the road... if it's above KinMoza levels of yuri, that'd be alright with me. Kobayashi-san is enough for me right now, but more's always good!

I was not aware that Dragon's Dogma allowed gay romance... or that it had romance at all, really. It's probably gonna be a Skyrim kind of "relationship" as opposed to an actual relationship, but, still, it's nice that they included it.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Maker canon, but not worth the play just for the yuri imo

I wouldn't really call Peace Walker yuri either just cause of Strangelove, but it's definitely a solid game regardless.

It does, but I don't think said gay character mentions her girlfriend or anything about her sexuality even once in the game proper... I dunno though, maybe they'll add some new voice lines soon.

Well, it's not really confirmed, but, eh, yeah, I guess Pharmercy's probably going down. It's not like anyone actually expected it to happen though so, oh well, what can we do. Fanart will always exist even if canon acceptance doesn't.

What does that "Bitter melon is amazing" line mean...? Anyhow, cute comic, I guess, it's nice to see Kase-san in color! (I'm sure colored scenes already happened before but I completely forgot about any).

Oh yeah, Academia started airing, huh. I didn't particularly like the OVA, but I suppose it's worth a shot to see if I like it. Still need to get around to watching Yuri on Ice though! (you know, did they ever actually confirm the yaoi couples or did they just leave it to subtext?)

Well, I just skipped all the het stuff and just read the yuri arc and the yaoi chapters. Since the yuri arc was mostly self-contained, it wasn't too hard to understand... Chapter 67 was kind of weird with all those random characters showing up, but, well, they're not important to that arc anyway. The yaoi arc... whew boy... I guess there are a few yaoi moments sprinkled here and there throughout the entire manga. Still, I got the general gist of it from the yuri arc and it was CUTE AS FUCK, so I'm alright with it. The erotic yaoi scene in this new chapter made me just as happy as the best erotic yuri scenes (Lily Love's was pretty solid, and I'm sure there were a few more I'm forgetting) even though I spent much less time with it, so the conclusion I drew from this is... TIME TO READ SOME EROTIC YAOI. I only read Prunus Girl before this and that was sorely lacking in sexy times... Kiss Him Not Me kind of had some but imaginary yaoi doesn't really count. Actual full-blown yaoi hentai might be a bit too much for me, but, who knows, I'll have to read one one day and see how I like it.

Edit: Read 105 too since someone on Page 1 of the comments (curse you, short-term memory loss and laziness) told me to. That was definitely a lot more confusing than the others... Nice to see that their son is apparently continuing their legacy and cross-dressing too.

I just read a few reviews, and it seems that the main character has a male love interest. Of course, I haven't read the manga so I wouldn't really know, but I wouldn't classify it as yuri if that's the case.

^That was in Mebae? Damn, that anthology pretty much is dead now after pulling that het NTR stories in the last issue.

Het NTR story? What story was that? It's pretty sad that it's dead though since all the good things that showed up in that magazine probably aren't gonna get finished... like this. I usually hope for longer things, but, well, I hope this is actually only two chapters because, well, at least it'll be complete.

Highway Blossoms (I don't know why it's spoiler tagged but, well, I guess I'll follow suit) is, by far, the best commercial yuri VN I've ever read... and, really, the only one I've read. I'm poor, okay?? I read pretty much every free yuri VN out there, and while I love Ebi-hime's and Nomnomnami's works in particular, it's impossible to deny that this VN has muuuuch higher production values... probably cause this is a $10 VN and their stuff is $0. It really adds to the experience. Of course, just cause a VN looks pretty doesn't mean it's well-written, but... well, this is pretty and well-written. The dialogue is so witty and great and Amber and Marina's relationship is SO CUTE AND GREAT. I have to admit, the first half was kind of boring me a bit, but it was necessary to really build up their relationship and all to make the second half more impactful... Well, that's my crappy opinion anyway. I'd definitely recommend it.

It saddens me that I don't really recognize any of these people... I really need to get around to watching some of these anime (maybe not MariMite, but the rest seem okay).

Yandere yuri is one of the best kinds (in my crappy opinion), so I'm excited to see that there's another yandere thing out there! Is it a full series or just a one-shot though? Probably a one-shot, but I can hope...

Yeah, you're not the only one... I pretty much forgot who pretty much all these supporting characters are. Still, the main cast's shenanigans are hilarious, so I'm okay with reading it even if I don't know half of the characters.
