Oh sure, it's sooo much better when there's needless drama and everything even the tiniest bit nice is instantly counteracted by some contrived conflict. Reading Citrus was like waiting to come climax for months, only for nothing to happen in the end. Maybe I'm the weirdo, but I find it refreshing when the characters are just allowed to be happy.

@blopa: I know, once you get to around 30, you start feeling your age a little.

@Vankomycin: I think his name was "Lord Razor", or something to that affect.

I love the fact that such a dark, nihilistic series has successfully generated so much fluff, romance, and comedy. That said, I really do love Maitake's take on the characters and setting: the Homura who's an innocent dork deep down, the assertive Madoka with a glasses fetish, the put-upon Sayaka and the 'stable' Kyouko, and everyone and everything else that makes all his works so damned amazing.

Watching the two goofballs in front of her... Sahara is somewhat channeling her inner Third Wheel Nico.

The author is a f***ing maniac. The fact that Murcielago got licensed blows my mind, considering how puritanical censorship laws are in the US... The manga features (among other things) EXTREME graphic violence, child-murder, mental corruption, obvious under-age sex, rape, and so on (all the sex-related stuff is like 99.9% yuri).

But he draws a wide and varied range of attractive/cute girls/women... and there's good dark comedy mixed in.

Yeah, Satsuki's got more of the swag and confidence you'd expect from Han Solo. She probably agreed to be Leia because Ryuko's brain would have blue-screened at the idea of walking around in a metal bikini.

If they keep posting this author's stuff (there are sooo many more movie parodies) onto this site... you guys will be in for a whole world of the strange and wonderful.

I can't believe we're getting a second chapter YEARS later. Anyway, I'd say I was disappointed by the 'misunderstanding' at the end, but then I have to remember that Shizuru Hayashiya is famous for the idiocy/melodrama in her works.

Aw man... Pito finally draws Tsubasa, but it's impossible to appreciate her angular eyes and the combo of her high-cut bangs and forehead.

I love how everyone is pulling together and doing their part to help (the weakened) Homura. Wow, it it never occurred to me that Madoka 'inherited' her glasses fetish from her mom... Everything makes so much more sense now. I love the fact that Homura got fussed over by the Kaname family. Looks like Junko taught her daughter a little TOO well- ended up overstimulating Homu and giving her a hear-tattack, lol.

Ah Yohane, it's been too long... Oh how I've missed your art, full of women (both curvy & slim), the full breasts & plump long legs, the women loving women, the adorable magic babies, and of course the fundoshis and thongs... to name but a few of the myriad interests/fetishes of yours that make your works such a joy.

There's something really adorable about the sheer intensity of Saikawa's feelings. As a kid, she lacks the life-experience to properly understand the concept that she's in love with Kanna. All she really knows is that being with Kanna makes her REALLY happy, and so she wants the two of them to become even closer.

Kanna is SUPER adorable in her own way. In her case, it seems like she knows she's attracted to Riko on some level, but it's more instinctive than something she's consciously aware of. If that's the case, then it would help explain why she's so uninhibited with her- she feels compelled to establish a bond (of some sort) with her.

I love seeing all the different facial expressions in this- Yuzu's pouting/angry faces are very moe.

Reading this is a treat, I have to say that both Yuzumori and Mimika are such incredibly engrossing characters. I love following the developing relationship between them.

Tooru is more of a cosplay maid, while Kobayashi is more of a historical maid.

Ah so cute. And Dominant Eli is best Eli.

Tamamusi is sooo weird... And that's why I love her work.

I love the image in the top right corner. It's like Kobayashi is thinking: "How the hell did I let it get to this point...? ~sigh... F**k it... just, whatever..."

As much as Saru tries to maintain her hard-ass bitch act, it's clear she really is a caring person. Her interactions with Miss Rooster make it clear what a good girl she is deep down.
