Yeah rereading this 3 years later I don't mind the art much like my past self but the lack of consent irked me as well

I suppose she ended up feeling the same way, though that still doesn't excuse for lack of consent

A shame the author hasn't posted anything related to this manga for months. It will be a year next August.

It will sadly be a year in 18 days, even though time goes by fast I still want to see development between these two

I think the point of this manga was to be real, hence why there wasn't a happy ending for most of them. They all had to move on and learn from their mistakes/broken hearts. Which is also why most people didn't like it lol

There are lots of different kinds of representation in here, unlike other manga, which also makes it more realistic already

This manga was great, it was really an eye opener, lately I've been searching for manga/anime that look deeply into these kinda of things, even if there wasn't an inherently fairy tale ending (which in my opinion makes it all the more better)

But I'm happy it's ending with a lesbian wedding, that's pretty cool

Yes I've read that one also, enjoyed it too, although it was a bit ambiguous at times instead of straightforward like this one which threw me off a little

I've always liked the art and story for this one, I always reread it every now and then

Rereading this one and I am definitely more fond of it now than I was before. It has a lot of the same melancholy of their canon relationship, but in a much more pleasant setting and a more hopeful message. Quite nice.

I finished this a couple of weeks ago and while I agree that the ending is a bit rushed, I'm just glad we finally got a great big "I love you!", big kiss, and a great big "I love you too!" Also, while Hyakuro's translation is shaky, I'm a huge weeb so keeping the honorifics is always a win in my book.

It's weird that this one turned out darker than this author's manga about the oni and the human child. Really shows humans are the real monsters

Well personally i found Morinaga annoying with the wingwoman act. But that's probably just me.

I suppose she was a bit, like getting into someone else's business is kind of annoying. She is helping their relationship develop faster or even develop at all though, since we can tell her own love didn't go so well because she didn't have a miraculous wingwoman to help herself
