This whole "AI is gonna take our jobs, it's the end of times" discourse reminds me too much of stories about the industrial revolution, when people would break into factories and smash machines.

Is AI gonna take our jobs? Then let it. We already produce enough wealth that we could pay each individual a basic income and let people choose whether or not to work.

Unless, of course, the ultra-rich aren't willing to pay taxes to fund a basic income, in which case everyone with a 9-to-5 job is going to starve.

I’ve gotten pretty drunk before, but never enough to not remember what happened. Do people forget that much? I assume that they do given the general acceptance of that kind of story beat

Can happen, speaking from experience. Usually you only realize you had a blackout when someone mentions you did something the night before and you have absolutely no recollection of doing it.

Although I never had blackouts of extended periods of time. Maybe 30 min tops. If you drank at a pub, went home with someone, flirted and had sex, by the time you're done with that a lot of the alcohol is probably already out of your system. You're not gonna forget the whole thing unless you're literally drinking the whole time.

I do think it was unforgivable of Touko not to know what a flapjack octopus is

It's not ours. Some other group picked it up after GUMI went MIA. I'm actually happy to see this finished. (It was kind of an underwhelming ending, though).

Arckuno (Binbou Scanlations) deleted all of their works from Dynasty. Not sure if they uploaded those elsewhere, probably not. It's a shame, really. I did cleaning/ts for this one and a few others from Binbou, so it's sad to see them gone.

...that's all I had to say.

What sucks is that it's going to take another 2-3 months before ch.13 comes out and this gets resolved

In this particular case, not likely. I don't think this has ever been released in tankobon, and Hirari is long dead. Fujio was probably bored in social isolation and suddenly remembered she had a series on standby.

I've always wondered why there's no sexual harassment tag in Dynasty, by the way. And would it be okay to suggest a "attempted rape" tag to chapter 3, seeing as the characters themselves describe the situation that way in chapter 4?

Not gonna lie i did notice the depressing undertones but I wasn't expecting pain/ sadistic type stuff.. its like both of them enjoy each other's suffering or pain and get off by it ? At the start it felt like an interesting manga now it feels a completely dark and weird fetish ? Lol

Nah, this isn't sadism. In actual BDSM practice, you don't hurt people without their explicit consent (and there wasn't any of that in the story). Besides, you don't cause permanent injury to your partner's body either, even if they ask you to. I don't see this as S/M at all. It's probably a metaphor for abusive behavior.

Edit: Still can't tell what happened to MC's back. It does seem to suggest that she cut her own wings (along with her partner's?), or maybe those are scars and MC's wings were cut before? Weird stuff.

Wait, was it the author who picked it up again or was it the scans that picked it up when it was finished long ago?

MangaUpdates lists it as complete, with four published volumes, so I'm guessing it's just that no scanlating group had shown any interest in this for a while. You can find all four volumes in Amazon, in case you can read japanese.
