Depending on how it goes, there may not be actual cheating. Like, if next chapter she comes clean and breaks up with Jun right away, I wouldn't call it cheating.

It's just that she was swept away by a storm of love in a single day. She was hesitant, but then just gave up and followed her heart. It's obviously an instant love, an "act of God" like Tsuzuki put it.

Now, it can't be said that Tsuzuki is cheating: she's poly, so her partners expect her to have other partners. Though it'll be awkward at work for Kashiwai if they come clean.

In the end, I don't think the "cheating" in this case is bad, because Kashiwai, before that, was just going through the motions and while she didn't hate Jun, the love wasn't burning brightly. Now that she found someone her heart beats for, it's entirely normal that she pursues her "true love". The bad would be if she keeps on stringing Jun along and follows up on their wedding without saying anything.

But... I think it won't be that simple. There's so much pressure around (getting married to her bf is what everyone expects from her), I'm not sure Kashiwai is reading to take it.

Tbh, I'm excited to read what's coming. I love characters with strong emotions and taken by storms of drama and inner conflicts.

Will Kashiwai break up with her boyfriend? Will Tsuzuki go ahead with her wedding plans too? Will she ever get jealous now that she found "true love"?

So much potential for drama and blood on the walls (and for a lively comment section).

Thank you for translating this!

I think your significant other cheating on you because they simply found someone they are more in love with is the hardest to take. It leaves you heartbroken, and there is nothing to do but to let them go and wish them well. All the while trying not to turn bitter about it.

For me, finding out my partner fell in love with someone of the same sex would actually make it easier to take. I could at least take comfort in knowing they were, at least on some level, looking for something I just couldn't give them.

And I may be wrong, but I think being poly doesn't give you open permission to just screw around with anyone you want. I'm pretty sure you're suppose to discuss bringing in someone new with your current lovers, before you begin the relationship. I guess it's possible Tsuzuki could have already discussed it with her lovers though.

I've always found comedy bits, about being eaten alive, or swallowed whole, unnerving.

Whenever there is a story where a character cheats on their significant other, the comment section explodes with condemnation. People rant about how cheating is terrible, and cheaters are the worst. I do agree cheating is bad, but I think it has degrees. For instance, a person who cheats because they got caught up in a whirlwind of a moment and let it carry them away isn't as bad as an asshole who cheats because they can have their cake and eat it too. Keeping a loving partner that dotes on them, while sleeping with any hottie they can talk out of their pants.

Ironically, I personally would find it more painful to deal with the person who just got carried away, because I would want to forgive them and move past it. It is just a mistake after all, and everybody makes them. However it would haunt me so I don't think I could. I could see the relationship dying by a thousand little passive aggressive jabs, as I take VERBAL swipes at my partner every time the pain erupts in me again. On the other hand, I'd just kick the cheating asshole aside, and move on. My righteous fury would help me get over any heartbreak I might feel.

Edit: Uh looking back over the coment, people aren't cheater hating like I expected. Must be because it was kind of obvious it was coming and the haters jumped ship. Oh well, I still stand by what I wrote.

Aaaaahhhhhhh! That's not how hunger works!

Edit: Although I do like the Idea of sending that lock to other manga series, to avoid chapters upon chapters of wheel spinning angst.

^who's to say it didn't. It had an open end. Ranma still had his curse. Akane had shown she was willing to marry him despite his gender swapping. Add in the pail of preservation and the temporary jusenkyo bath powders, and you have the makings for pretty much any conceivable sexual preference you could dream up, and all with just the canonical pairing of the series. For instance, take the powder for spring of drowned boy, add the pail of preservation, and bam! you got the makings of a story arc about Ranma giving birth to "her" and Akane's first child.

More Ranma x Akane yuri please. I'm serious. I read Ranma 1/2 fan fiction and there is hardly any Ranma x Akane yuri out there

Switching bodies with an ex gorlfriend so she can tank an arranged date for you, seems kind of rediculious over kill. It's like calling on the black arts to summon a spirit from the underworld, to help you do your taxes. Sure it'll get the job do but there are so many easier ways to handle it, why the hell would you.

I mean pretty sure she had other motives. Especially from the fact that she didn't think it would work and also because the ways to switch bodies seemed kinda gay ngl.

You have a point. Telling someone, if we massage each other's chest for ten minutes we'll switch bodies is definitely an orginal excuse to cop a feel. Maybe I should give it a try. Lol

Edit: Still having a same sex pair do a body swap seems kind of boring.

Edit2: Flat chested women are okay except it seems like it'd feel like feeling up a little girl.

Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what springtime is like
On Jupiter and Mars
In other words hold my hand
In other words
(choking up a bit)
Darling kiss me.

Which voice? Asuka, Rei or Misato?

Actually mine. I was singing it all the way the chapter, as I a choked back a few tears. I don't like to brag, but I've been told I got the perfect voice for internet message boards, and comment sections. :)

Seriously though, Frank Sinatra's voice naturally. I liked that song long before I ever saw Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Bisexual women exist. In fact, some even speculate they're more common than lesbians.

To the aguish of lesbians everywhere, Judging by the heated arguments I see about bisexual women on the comment pages.

Lets see, a manga where some otherworldly baddies show up to threaten the earth. And the only weapons we have to save humanity with, for some inexplicable reason, can only be wielded by highschool girls. I don't why but I feel like I've seen this plot before.

Side note: The baddies are called huge. Come on now, it feels like Tsukinami Kousuka isn't even trying, with that one.

When I was a kid in the 90s I only listened to things from the 60s and 70s. I was the weird outlier in my school, cause I lsitened to mostly classic rock from England, cause that's what my dad listened to.

Judging by Mr. uncle that was spot on.

Random question, was that really a Jeep in the orginal work, or was that something the translator put in. And a follow up question, if that really is a Jeep, does the author a get product placement deal for it? I mean, I can't see a lot yuri otaku running out and buying Jeeps.

Edit: Maybe Jeep could put out a special limited Miss Sunflower addition, then the otaku would be tripping over themselves to get one.

It’s clearly a Joop not a Jeep. Jokes aside don’t think it counts as product placement due to the logo not being clearly drawn. If you look back none of the logos technically say Jeep or are the Jeep logo. Pretty sure it’s a WcDonalds situation.

So what you're saying is, it's similar to, but legally distinct from a Jeep brand vehicle. :)

Edit: I still want my special limited Miss Sunflower addition Jeep Grand Cherokee, though.

Love this author/artist! Very fun start and I'm excited to see more.

I can't believe Nirvana is on a Japanese highschool girls play list. Kurt Cobain passed away at least 10 years before she was even born. I could maybe buy Foo Fighters, but I'm not sure how big they are in the overseas market.

The entire point here is that she doesn’t listen to what others do, she says that. The other girls in her group don’t recognize the bands at all.

You think there can’t be one japanese schoolgirl in all the country with western music taste to make a doujin around?

I also had something else here but I deleted it, wooo

Your absolutely right. But it's weird. It would be like finding an American highschool kid who is into a Japanes rock band from the early 90's

It's definitely not impossible and more likely than you might think in this age of the internet, where media can be shared across the world to and from any country, for anyone of any age.

Edit: Thinking about it I'm someone around the ballpark of 30, who was listening to out of the norm bands from various countries, Japan included, that nobody else I knew was listening to back in my early teenage years. All thanks to the power of dialup internet. So I'm not even sure why this is a debate...

Wasn't really debating. I guess I was just a bit incredulous about two Japanese highschool girls bonding over a 30 year old American rock music. Don't get me wrong, it's pretty cool. I always like seeing American culture in manga. it's just weird

That was an ominous end to an otherwise up beat chapter. It's got me a bit concerned but there isn't a Drama or an Aaagnst tag, on the series, so how dark can it get.

I'm a little creeped out that it's conceivable that they let a girl get married while she is still naive about how babies are made.

Sorry to break it on you, but that was actually the expected, in fact in too many cases the normal, situation. We're living in the XXI century, but there have been a lot of centuries before that. So, in fact, it is perfectly conceivable, and not so weird as to have to be "creeped" at it. You are, however, perfectly entitled to shake your head disaprovingly while thinking of how much we have improved.

Creeped out. Shaking my head disapprovingly, while thinking of how much we have improved. Can't it be both?

I was going to write tomato tomato, but I quickly realized how badly that old saying translates into writing. Lol

I mean, for the longest time, Sex Ed for women was essentially your mom telling you what to expect from your husband the night before the wedding (especially if you were well-off; can’t be a prude ojou-sama). And they haven’t actually gotten married or at least haven’t had the ceremony (that I recall) so maybe the topic just hasn’t come up between her mom and her.

Yeah, We've come a long way with women and their sexuality. Unfortunately it looks like, here in America, We've crested the hill and on are way back down :(

I'm a little creeped out that it's conceivable that they let a girl get married while she is still naive about how babies are made. However I don't think it's been covered how same sex partners have babies, or if it's even possible, in this world. So, Chiru isn't the only one that potentially needs a talk about the birds and the bees.
Which brings me to Chiru calling Senri-sama her husband. I know it was just suppose to be cute in all, but after the baby talk, I couldn't help wonder if there wasn't something going on under the hood that made Senri-sama "the husband". It's silly, I know. It's probably because Senri-sama is older and of higher social standing, that Chiru sees her that way. But minds do wonder.
