It wouldn't be a Neji manga without some completely out of nowhere drama. I love her manga a lot, but she needs to learn how to gradually shift tone. You can't just go from cute fluffy slice-of-life to near death experience. It just leaves the reader with tonal whiplash.

@juanelric I was reading it a few years ago. Not sure what the story has been up to, but it's about a group of dungeon explorers well... exploring dungeons, and making meals out of the creatures therein. If you like food manga, then it's pretty unique in that regard, and you should absolutely read it. However, It isn't really my favorite genre, so I stopped after a while.

What I find really amazing about this is that despite the subject matter, I didn't feel even a hint of eroticism from it. It was just pure, unfettered intimacy. Bravo to the writer.

I just dropped it after literally every character I found interesting was killed off, most unceremoniously. When is the author gonna pull a Gantz and bring back all of the fan favorites?

It's a classic cope-out to avoid addressing the elephant in the room: homosexuality.

I'm genuinely confused here. So a character falling in love with someone of the same sex isn't gay if we don't see them being attracted to other people of the same sex first? I just came here to see cute girls fall in love, how is that not gay?

This series is leaning a lot deeper into the HR angle than I'd expected, which is neat, though I imagine the people who were expecting a playboy yuri-fest will be somewhat miffed.

I am absolutely somewhat miffed, but if the wait is worth the payoff, then everything will be alright.

I'm half and half on whether I want these two MC's to get together or go after women together (like each other's wingwoman or some sort of rival). Both options seem really interesting to me (ﾉ*0*)ﾉ

Honestly, I wouldn't be opposed to them be a player couple of some kind. That kind of thing is pretty much nonexistent in the genre, and would make for a very interesting dynamic, especially given how well their personalities play off of one another. Though I suppose we'll just have to see how the story goes. One of them wants a relationship and the other is more into just having fun. I'm really interested in seeing how this plays out, that's for sure.

I'm not sure why so many people seem to think that it's het because it isn't yuri. I'm not one to harp on about bi erasure, but that's hard to ignore. Personally, I love bi poly stuff. This story, on the other hand, is too short to get any kind of grip on what their relationship is. The prince is given no characterization whatsoever, and is even sidelined at the end to focus on the yuri aspect, which is dreadfully barebones on its own. They don't even kiss or share any kind of romantic sentiments with one another. Would it have been so hard to have one panel of the three of them sharing some kind of intimacy? I was excited when I saw the tags, but this was boring as all hell.
For that matter, this whole collection has been boring. The worst part is that the theme is so restrictive that they just feel like redraws of the same story. I don't even know what the point is.
