Aight, nice, I liked it, I kinda had the feeling Ruri wasn't in love or didn't feel the same for Mayuko, so it would've been weird really that at the end she just changed her mind or ended up being in love just because of the confession. So that's great. It's the first "don't end up together" story that doesn't make me feel sad for any of them. It also doesn't feel forced, as I said before, it made a lot of sense, and the characters showed growth and developed anyway, so I'm happy.

I liked that about the open ending, as well. It's good that they are both upfront about their feelings or lack thereof, and the fact is that feelings change. If they keep spending time together, either Mayuko's infatuation with Ruri will cool off and they will be just friends and colleagues, or Ruri will fall for her, in turn. Both futures are good.
