Mad Dog is somehow both calmer and more unhinged than I expected. XD

Looking forward to seeing more of the other gangs.

Isolated, not everyone is like that. It's kind of like...a code of honor and respect. I was intending to show that he was so far away from the point of no return, he discarded his honor and respect. Only to try and reclaim what was left of it in the end.

Figured it was something like that with Sam (plus, deliberately provoking Tess before the fight). The others made me wonder. Like Slick Willie or the guy Sam shot before leaving the Dandies.

Well That whole gang is a bunch of assholes. I wanted to make a gang that think of themselves as superior men. Real dapper. Kinda like focused on 1920s dapper style and earlier. Believing in old gender roles and the like. Which is why he told Molly she'd make a good prostitute. Basically I wanted that gang to be really hate-able and punchable lol. Though Slick Willie kinda learned his lesson.

If y'all have any questions about lore or whatever, I would be more than happy to answer spoiler free :)

Not a question but a compliment. Page 4 of chapter 30 brings memories of one of the best scenes from the movie True Grit (the original with John Wayne). Well done and thank you.

True grit was actually a big inspiration for me when it came to making this comic. I watched both the old and the new. The new one got me hooked on the idea of incorporating the western slang in the speech.

You picked a great movie as inspiration. Good thing you didn't use the Wild Bunch instead, awesome movie but over the top for a manga.

Anime wise I was also inspired by cowboy beebop, Trigun, and Black Lagoon. And mostly these early 2000's girls with guns genre at the time. Where there are two girls that are partners going against a threat. DIrty Pair Flash, You're Under Arest, Bubblegum Crisis 2040, They were very yuri coded...unfortunately that never happens. So like a rainbow colored thanos I thought "Fine, I'll do it myself"
