My Twitter happens to recommend me this thus I decided to read it again.
I'm actually more fascinated by the accomodation she stayed. It looks like a typical hotel room except there's a divider in between to separate the kitchen and the bed.
Uhh.. actually,my interpretation for this manga is just simple:
Hoshi san didn't do well for her presentation on that day so she felt really sad.
So Hoshi san's inner desire to get herself feel better is to take a day off, go to a hot spring with someone she loves (in this case, Noushiro san but the real Noushiro san has a boyfriend so she couldn't.. only dreams), get acknowledge for her hard work, and have a good sex.
Instead, in real life, she fell into a deep slumber for two days. Of course, when she woke up, it's just a wishful thinking but she felt better after that "dream" that looks real to her(so she can face her reality again).
In short, daydreaming/wishful thinking is a beautiful antidote to cope with a harsh reality.
P.s. I think it only applies to some people, not in general. Please take it with a pinch of salt, thank you.
