As far as official material is concerned, PDP seems to be an outdated name for the project. LL staff apparently stopped using it as soon as All Stars was announced. Perhaps this should be renamed to something like "Love Live School Idol Festival All Stars" or just the mobage name "Love Live School Idol Festival".

Properly speaking, it would be "Love Live! Nijigasaki Academy School Idol Club" but God damn is that a mouthful. "PDP" has the strong virtue of being short, and it's still in wide use in the English-speaking fandom. Shortened to "Love Live! Nijigasaki" or "Love Live! Nijigaku" would be OK, though I think many in the EN fandom still don't think of it as such.

As to using the game name, that has two issues: one, anything with any LL character (not A-Rise) could fall under that label, and two, the game is only one facet of the Nijigasaki branch of LL. I mean, no one calls everything μ's "SIF," so why would we call everything Nijigasaki "SIFAS?"
