But I had to comment on this old post because I really don't understand something - and maybe one day someone will answer.
In the first panel of page 17 when Kogasa pops up in front of Remi saying "I'm gonna lick you!" - and we have big sound effects for licking - which most anime manga fans would know - is pero - (pero pero pero in this case).
But here instead of pero (ペロ) bero (ベロ) is clearly used each time?
How come ? A typo ? I can't image the original mangaka doesn't know the Japanese sound effect for licking - or is it something else I'm unaware of.
