It's a pity that these kind of story tends to be just porn while there are a lot of possibilities to explore. Like for example, Usagi Drop, or maybe about socially childish mom and capable daughter. Anyway it needs more drama and less smutfest.

Though maybe a mere hint of 'incest' do wonder to turn most people off from the beginning anyway.

Well for me the Incest is nothing special, though.

No no no, No it isn't. You can't say Incest is not special and expect to get away with it.

It has at least 3 quality that discern it from other, namely B.M.W:
- Blood = That's the same blood flowing in your lover's vein.
- Memory = You share a lot memories together, a lot more than even childhood friend.
- Wooneechuan(Big Sis) Moe = All in all, a little sister has the biggest feeling for her big sister, see: Yui x Ui

(note that I actually just ripped off that argument from a certain anime)

For me, the most special thing in Incest is when they do "it" in the imminent risk of other family members can just barge in middle through. Like, doing it in the bathroom while their mother shouting "you're taking your time, just hurry up and let's have a meal!", can you imagine that?

^The incest fetish is more an otaku thing - in mainstream Japanese society it's just going to be at the same levels as normal American society - and at any rate doesn't really cause an explosion of works outside the ImoutoxOnii-chan genre.
