So yeah, when I think of MakiPana, this is the sort of dynamic I'm talking about.
Or as one fanfic put it, "You know, you guys have been together for years, and Maki-chan still acts like a dumb teenager in love when she's around you."
That neverending sweetness and treating her like she's precious while being a clumsy doofus is the hallmark of this couple, at least in my mind.
