Gunnerkrigg Court - well, got something finally, enjoying it's weirdness.

The webcomic Wapsi Square has two lesbian couples, but the storytelling has gotten disjointed as hell, storylines generally don't last for more than two or three pages when they used to be really involved. The older couple still doesn't make a lot of sense either, but at least the younger is pretty cute.

I will add Tenkuu Shinpan (ongoing manga) and maybe Gunsmith Cats? Maybe?

I will also add Gakkou Gurashi for subtext. But maybe I am just a big shipper of Kurumi x Miki

The first one is pretty much Nanoha~ish. Depending onwhether you count Nanoha as yuri or not. The second, yuri plays a main theme in its biggest and final arc.

I dont care for subtext, no matter the levels. If its not yuri, its not yuri at all in my eyes.

I have the same problem. Long-running romance series aren't my thing, but non-yuri titles with actual yuri, not just subtext, are hard to come by. I'm assuming you're already familiar with Bodacious Space Pirates, Poor Poor Lips and Steven Universe?

Personally, I ended up settling for stuff with strong subtext, as long as it isn't played for laughs, and shorter yuri manga. But good luck with your search!

seem to have a dark-ish backstory, tho somewhat overshadowed by its general tone.
Also its divided in parts, but also has a chapter structure, err. well just linking.
