Anyone reading it? Did Ken Akamatsu sink Setsuna x Konoka? All I know is that Negi is sterile, so his child aparently was some kind of clone or something like that and the main character is his descendent, there's also a descendent of Konoka, but I don't know if they already said with who she had children.

No, the main character IS Negi's clone, and was adopted into Konoka's family. Also, if Konoka were to have children it'd probably still be with Setsuna because magic

Nah I just read the spoilers on TV Tropes lol. Konoka and Setsuna aren't mentioned much on the page so I don't think they've gotten much, if any focus (like most of the previous cast).

Also apparently the main character Touta is a failed clone of Negi and doesn't have a mom, so there's that. The mystery of who Negi married (or if he even married at all) continues!

I bet Negi marries Fate, the girls even say he's the strongest rival they have...

That would be an amazing twist...to be honest that could explain why Fate's a bad guy now and wants Touta. He needs his clone powers to bring back Negi! He's evil again for the sake of his love!

Actually no, I'm still just getting all of that off TV Tropes spoilers hahaha... But maybe someday, I'll read it! Longer works intimidate me now more than they did before for some reason...

Ha, I guess my errant comment sparked a thread. Thanks for the info, I'm beginning to think I'll have to read UQ. I just got twitchy when I saw Touta's family name. Also, still angry that Negi spends the entire series saving his Dad... and Queen Arika is never mentioned again after 'then she escaped and dumped Negi on relatives at some point we guess.'

I mean, double standard much, Negi?

Also, I demand Chachamaru make an appearance! She's a robot, and it's only been a few decades!

I think Negi would go search for Arika after they finished Nagi part of the story, but Akamatsu didn't have a choice but end it out of nowhere, he'll probably explain everything missing from Negima on UQ Holder, at least I hope so... I don't think Akamatsu would have double standard with Negi mother, he's a lot better than most mangakas to do that.
