Funny to think how both of these mangakas, now with an anime adaptation each, started out making Touhou doujins. Of course basically every Japanese artist on pixiv started out making Touhou fanart if you go back far enough in their gallery, it's basically de facto law at this point that you need a year of Touhou fanart before you can be a real artist on pixiv.
